Tonight on the Terrace

Tonight on the terrace,

I would be lying supine.

Staring at the starry sky;

Trying to push the time.

But it's too stubborn,

And goes by it's own.

I don't posses the vigor;

to initiate the dawn.

I've felt the coldness;

Of this melancholy dusk.

I  wanna be safe & snug,

With a cup o' tea and rusk.

Not too long ago,

I was confined to  my own home.

At times I enjoyed,

But I needed that darling dawn.

What about now?

We're just lighting the night.

But the time never pauses

Though end is far from our sight

 BUT THE END IS NOT TOO FAR

BECAUSE THE SUN WILL AGAIN RISE

LET'S MAKE THIS A REALITY NOT A FABLE

WE'LL MAKE THE SUN SHINE BRIGHT
