RECAP:"So as I was saying," Cho continued, "There's been a rumor going around..."

Michelle knocked on the bathroom door again.

"Cho Chang! Hurry up and get your ass out here right now!" Michelle and Cho were supposed to join the rest of their friends for an early study session before classes and they were currently late to their set meet up time and Cho was taking too long to get ready.
"Come on, it's not like you're going on a date or something." Michelle huffed again and she finally heard the toilet flush and her friend open the door after washing her hands.
"Patience Michelle." She grinned and they finally started making their way to the library.

"Draco, we're here to study." Michelle commented exasperatedly as the blonde lay his head down on the table to apparently "take a nap."
"Mmmhhgg" He replied and Harry rolled his eyes.
"Typical slytherin." He muttered but Draco's head shot up and he glared at Harry.
"What's that supposed to mean." He growled and Michelle quickly lay a hand on his shoulder while shaking her head at Harry. They were almost full grown adults yet they still act like 1st year children. Harry just sighed and went back to asking Hermione a question about herbology.
"Scarhead." Draco mumbled and lay back down. After a few minutes of studying, Cho suddenly piped up.
"So, did all of you hear about the rumor?" She leaned down on the table as if she was telling some really important secret.
"What rumor." Ron also leaned in, but Michelle suspected he was just glad that he could take a break from studying and Hermione's herbology lessons.
"That someone... or something had been drinking unicorn blood in the forbidden forest..." Cho continued and even Harry and Hermione stopped studying and looked seemingly interested.
"Who?" Ginny finally spoke after ignoring everyone but Michelle for the whole hour.
"Dunno." Cho shrugged.
"They say its something that wears a cloak four times to big for its body, and it also gets around by illusions and other tricks that can confuse witches and wizards."
"Probably another silly rumor." Draco commented after a heartbeat of silence and thought.
"Is it as silly as how your hair looks." Ron couldn't help but snicker and Michelle tried not to laugh out loud.
"Maybe you should get rid of that thing stuck in your teeth before your comment on other people's appearances." Draco sniffed and patted his hair down. Michelle let out a giggle at Ron's panicked sight. He glared at Malfoy before turning to Harry and shaking him by the shoulder, demanding to tell him where it was.
"There's nothing there Ron, quit getting worked up by Malfoy." Harry groaned and pushed his friend off him.
"Guys we're getting sidetracked here." Ginny pointed out, still refusing to meet Harry's gaze.
"How do we know this is real."
Cho's eyes glistened under the morning sun shinning through the windows.
"We find out."

"I'm telling you guys, this is a horrible idea." Hermione repeated for probably the 100th time tonight. "We shouldn't be sneaking out in the first place, let alone sneaking out to find out if some conspiracy theory is real."
Ron waved her off
"Yeah, yeah, we'll come back safely."
"That's not the point." Hermione huffed and crossed her arms. Luna wrapped her arm around Hermione and whispered a few words of comfort, successfully calming her down.
Michelle, Ron, Harry and Cho were planning to sneak out and catch the unicorn blood drinker. Hermione obviously refused to come and Draco and Ginny bailed, claiming they were "too tired." This unicorn rumor they heard definitely sounded like a real deal. Although this might've not been the greatest way to start their last year at hogwarts, at least they would enjoy themselves. And hopefully solve this mystery and impress Mcgonagall. Maybe she'll even give them extra house points for this. It would definitely be worth it.
"Let's go." Cho whispered as Harry dragged over his invisibility cloak, draping it across the four of them. Hermione shook her head and walked away while Luna waved them goodbye before padding Hermione. Ginny's messy bed haired head popped up from a room above them.
"Don't die." She hissed across the room before disappearing again. Making sure she didn't step on anyone's feet nor the trailed cloak, Michelle carefully took timid steps to match the beat of the other four people next to her.

After a long walk that felt like it took forever, they finally made it to the edge of the forest.
"This is it." Cho whispered.
"Are we sure we want to do this." Harry spoke hesitantly.
"Spider." Ron just spluttered and Michelle grabbed the small thing off of Ron's head  and tossed it into the bush.
"You're such a scaredy cat Ron." She sighed and wiped her hand on her cloak.
"So.. are we doing this?" Harry tried again and Michelle nodded this time.
"Just... don't step on my hair." She brushed a hand through her hair and the four of them walked as silently as possible deeper into the forbidden forest.
