Recap: "Why the hell are you talking to her?"
Michelle crossed her arms and glared at the girl.
"Who, Susanmi?" Draco questioned, a little puzzled and very alarmed by Michelle's sudden outburst. Susanmi gave Michelle a little smirk but said nothing. Michelle rolled her eyes as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Um... we were just discussing Potions class?" Draco answered hesitantly.
"I'm sure you had to get so close to talk about class." Michelle fired back, glaring even harder.
"Michelle why are you so worked up? He's YOUR boyfriend, no?" Susanmi butt in with an even wider smirk. Michelle turned red and looked even angrier.
"Maybe we should just..." Harry started but Michelle tugged her arm out his grasp and stomped right into Draco's personal space.
"Go..." Harry finished, feeling a little awkward. Maybe he should just go back. He decided against it in case Michelle decided to get a little violence.
"Susanmi you need to shut your mouth and mind your own business, and DRACO MALFOY, We'll talk about this later, you asshole, I don't understand you, one minute you're fine and then you suddenly just-" Michelle cut off as she saw Susanmi playfully flip her off. Fuming with anger, Michelle used 70% of her strength to push Susanmi towards the table. Susanmi hit the table with an Oomph and flipped backwards. Draco stared wide eyed at Michelle for a second before rushing off to frantically ask Susanmi if she was okay and help her up.
"Come on." Harry prompted behind a fuming Michelle. By now, a crowd had formed and people were swarming Draco and Susanmi. Michelle huffed and turned her heel to walk away. Harry followed sheepishly behind her.
"What in the bloody hell happened?" Ron cried when Harry finally calmed down Michelle enough so that he could go back to his own table.
"Just Draco being an ass." Harry shrugged it off.
"Yeah mate, I'm sure." Ron stuffed another bun in his mouth with a roll of his eyes.
"But I've never seen Michelle this angry." Hermione added, taking a sip of water.
"Yeah well, I haven't either." Harry sighed and began to eat.
"Michelle it'll be alright. Sometimes you need to calm down a little." Cho rubbed Michelle's back in an attempt to comfort her.
"Draco won't cheat." Luna added.
"Yeah see Draco won't cheat." Cho added brightly. Michelle narrowed her eyes in suspicion.
"Why's that?" She asked Cho.
"Ummm... because Luna said he wouldn't and Luna's never wrong." Cho grinned and bumped shoulders with Luna, who glanced at her distastefully.
"Makes sense." Michelle just shrugged and started to eat to take her mind off things.
After the meal, the group of friends decided to go the astronomy tower to chat under the stars. Draco lingered at the back of the group because he *of course* invited Susanmi along and they were talking in hushed tones. Michelle occasionally glanced back and glared even harder when she saw that they were still talking.
"Cheer up." Harry nudged Michelle's shoulder. She sighed and crossed her arms again.
"Why did he even bring her. She's not part of our group." Michelle grimaced and tried walking faster. Luna, who had overheard Michelle's complaint piped up,
"But she's your cousin."
Hermione, Ron and Cho, the three people leading the group stopped abruptly when they heard this.
"What?" They choursed. Ginny, the one who barely spoke didn't seem fazed.
Michelle waved them off and started to walk before Draco and Susanmi figured out something was wrong.
"Later."
The group settled on the floor in a circle and talked to each other as if they had forgotten about Michelle's little ordeal.
"The sky's real pretty tonight." Luna commented, to which Ginny hummed in agreement with.
"Perfect for a date night." Susanmi snickered behind Michelle and it took all her willpower not to turn around and smack that boyfriend stealer in the face.
"Um, right. So... " Harry diverted to attention back to him. Draco ignored Potter and Susanmi did the same, the two of them getting into another quiet conversation on the sidelines. Michelle rolled her eyes but stayed silent.
"Are you going to tell us?" Cho asked a little too quickly. Hermione patted her shoulder to remind Cho to stop invading personal space.
Michelle rounded everyone into a closer huddle before whispering
"She is my cousin. I'll admit, I never said anything about her because I don't think that it's important. She has always been in my shadow, she is always trying to beat me in school, in quidditch, even following me to hogwarts, although she only got her letter 6 months after mine. She's always trying to become better than me, so much that she's starting to annoy me."
"Like how she stole your boyfriend?" Cho snickered and Ginny glared at her. Michelle let out an angry huff.
"Whatever. The point is, I don't like her." Michelle returned her gaze to the sky.
"It seems like she admires you." Luna also looked up at the sky.
"Yeah, well I don't like it." Michelle responded with the same amount of venem in her voice.
"It doesn't seem like she had done anything particularly bad though." Hermione hummed quietly and Ron agreed. A sudden commotion coming up the steps to the astronomy tower broke the silence between the group of friends.
"Susanmi Jones!" Mcgonagall's voice rang into the tower.
"Susanmi Jones are you up there?"
The little group of friends shuffled around and all looked at Susanmi who nervously flickered her eyes towards the staircase.
"Y-yes." She called. Draco put a comforting hand on her shoulder, making Michelle frown again.
"Come down this instant! I believe we have a lot to talk about young lady."
