It was Literature period, and Dami and Remi would have done literally anything to be away from this class. They hated literature, but it was a must to do it because they were only in the first term of SS1 and had to offer all subjects.
Dami passed a note to Remi who wrote something in it and gave it to Christy. They had been doing this since the period began. The note read,
Dami- Hey Christy, can't you stop looking so interested in Literature and be more like Remi and I? :O(that's supposed to be a bored smiley).
Remi- Exactly, Christy. BTW, Ms. Adeola has a nice dress on.

Christy sighed. She wrote to them.
Well, sorry to dash your hopes against a rock, but incase you haven't figured, Literature is my best subject, and I can't STOP being interested! BTW, Remi, I happen to know you just wrote that so if Ms. Adeola catches us with this note and reads it, you wouldn't be punished. Well, I don't think flattery works on her, so would you kindly LET ME BE! ^_^(this is a very angry smiley!!).
She passed the note back. They read it and sent more notes back.
Christy- Come on, can't you guys respect code number seven?? RESPECT YOUR FRIENDS FEELINGS!!! Don't make me even madder!!!
This went on for most of the literature class, but they finally stopped when their teacher announced she would be giving them a project. She said she would be giving a period of two weeks to the students to form a write-up on any topic they chose. It could be a story, a poem, an essay... anything.  Christy's eyes lit up. She l...oved challenges like this. The rest of the class groaned. Ms. Adeola went on;
"Whoever comes up with the best poem wins access to write in the school's newspaper for as long as you school here."
Christy gasped. Only the Prefects were allowed that. It would be an awesome opportunity.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you, Christy?" Dami snapped, glaring at the teacher with distaste. Christy laughed.
"You can bet I am."
Remi sighed and got up as the bell rang.

Later in the day, the trio were at Christy's house. They saw to their homework, chatted and goofed around. After a while, Christy got distracted. Something else had caught her attention. She stared into her bag.
"What's up, Chris?" Remi asked.
She brought out her scrapbook and showed them a blue and white coloured paper on the front cover of the book. It was a little sticky note, and it had something written on it. They read,

Dear goofy Christy,
I know all about your little secret. Meet me at the cafeteria, lunch time tomorrow or I'd tell everyone in class.
Signed, C.B.

"Guess what, guys," Christy said in a small voice. "It's in my handwriting."
