"Just as expected." a high, cold voice echoes in the darkness of night. You feel like falling without knowing when you'll touch the ground... You wonder if you're actually flying, because falling has a certain destination, but flying does not... What if you're actually flying? You can just...maybe flap your wings and stay in the air...
"Just as I've planned." the high-pitched voice echoes once more, giving you a shiver. Where does it come from?
You're still falling. You try and flap your arms like a bird, for you still believe you're flying... But no use, you're just falling down...and down...and down...
You hit the ground. Solid and cold. But you're all fine, the fall doesn't hurt you in any way. You stand up and grope for the way out of the place. You keep your eyes wide open and look around, hoping to find the dimmest, faintest ray of the sun that can lead you out of the dark.
"You have come." the cold voice says,"Oh yes, stupid girl. You have come."
No use. There's only darkness surrounding you, and that's it. No sunlight. No fire. No illumination."Who are you? Get me out of here!" you stand upright and shout into nothingness.
"Oh, no. Not so fast. There are some people here whom I think you'd like to meet."
You hear people calling your name. Three people, whose voices were suspiciously familiar.
"Yes, familiar, very familiar, of course." the voice says as if whoever's speaking can read your mind,"Meet them, shall we?"
You swallow nervously.
"Yes." you answer shortly.
"Very well." echoes the voice with glee,"Now quiet, you all!" it yells.
All the voices die down immediately.
A fen-fire suddenly appears right next to you, making you jump. Fen-fire means death...
The fen-fire dances in mid-air and moves away from you. It stops to
illuminate the swollen face of a woman. Her eyes are puffy from crying and her hair is messy. Tears stream down her face uncontrollably as she calls your name hoarsely. She can barely talk. There are bruises and cuts all over her face. Some are bleeding."MOTHER!" you scream, running toward her,"WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU?"
The woman shakes her head and look straight into your eyes as though begging you for something. Your mother shakes her head rapidly she mutters "no".
You start crying and run faster. All you want to do now is to hold her in your arms and tell her it's going to be alright. But the moment you reach out your arm to touch her...
"Crucio!" says the high-pitched voice.
A jet of green light comes from somewhere above your head, and your mother shrieks in pain. She collapses, her hands covering her face.
"NO!" you squeak angrily and pull out your wand, pointing it at where the curse came from. You need a curse strong enough enough for whoever cursed your mother. The Cruciatus curse is unforgivable, therefore, there's no forgivable curse that's as painful... So that's settled.
"Crucio!" you cry. Nothing happens.
"You think you can curse me, stupid girl?" the voice laughs the laugh that sends chills down your spine,"Remember, I can kill your unfaithful little mother right now if I want to, so behave yourself."
"Unfaithful little mother"...The voice's just called your mother "unfaithful"...
"You're the Dark Lord, aren't you?" you ask through clenched teeth, hatred flooding your mind.
