First of all, Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate it! (Pssst! I'm one of them!)
Okay u can start reading now :)***
"Wake up, (Y/n)!" you hear Fleur's voice echoing in your head, waking you up,"You 'ave to get ready!"
She walks toward the window and opens the curtain to fill your room with sunlight.
"Why?" you ask sleepily, turning your back on the window,"Is it your birthday?" you yawn, pulling your blanket up to cover your face.
"No, of course it's not my birthday!" says Fleur urgently,"C'mon! Or you'll get zere late!"
"Get where?" you inquire, curling up inside your blanket,"Your birthday party?"
"Stop keeding! You are ze champion of Beauxbatons! Zat's not funny!" Fleur shouts irritably.
"I am ze champion of Beauxbatons. And zat was supposed to be funny." you mutter, imitating Fleur's voice.
Suddenly, you realise something. Something that makes you jump. The First Task of the Triwizard tournament is today.
You sit up on your bed.
"Blimey!" you exclaim,"What time is it?"
"Around eight. Come on, girl. Get up." Fleur says softly,"I've made you a cup of tea. For luck."
There's a cup of hot tea on your bedside table. Fleur makes awesome tea.
"Thanks, Fleur." you smile, taking a gulp.
"You're welcome." Fleur grins,"Go out zere and ween zis tournament, will you?"
You merely sigh. How can you just 'go out there and win this tournament' without even knowing what's waiting for you out there? Champions have died before, and they were of age...
"I'll try my best." you say feebly, straining a smile.

"Hi, Draco." you wave as Draco walks toward you,"Why are you going this way? The Great Hall is that way." you point ahead,"Aren't you having breakfast?"
"Hi." says Draco nervously, he almost breaks into a run,"I couldn't find you in the Hall, so I set off to find you."
"What is it?"
"I just wanna wish you luck." he says,"Have you got any idea about the task?"
"No." you shake your head disappointedly,"Not at all. I guess I'll just improvise when I get there."
Draco sighs worriedly. He leads you to a deserted corridor.
"Good luck." he says, embracing you,"You can win. Really, you're a whole lot better than that prat Potter."
You chuckle, blinking away the tears in your eyes. Are they happy tears or sad tears...? You don't know. The only thing you know right now is that you want to be with Draco, you want him to hold you like this forever. If you weren't in the tournament, maybe it would be different... Maybe he really could do that, he really could hold you forever.
Draco sighs heavily and pulls away.
"Will you be there to watch me?" you ask.
"Of course I will. You need someone to cheer for you, remember?" he smiles weakly, a smile that looks more like a grimace, and kisses your forehead,"I'll always be there for you."

A dragon. Not what you'd want to have for a pet. Especially the fire-breathing kind of dragon, the kind of dragon you're about to face in less than an hour.
