"Levi, where are we going?" You asked him as he speedily drove down the long road.

His mission is to keep you safe from any harm. He was sent from the future to protect you from anything, but one part of the mission wasn't required. He fell in love with you, and so did you.

"I have to get you as far away as I can. My commander told me to go someplace here in case I needed backup. It could end up being a shit storm."

He didn't look at you while speaking, not even glancing. His body was tense and sweaty. He worked himself up trying to protect you and run away. The last encounter with REV-9 was ruthless. Levi barely made it out without having severe injuries. Regardless of being augmented, he still felt the pain.

He was still mad at you for what you did to distract REV-9. Sacrificing yourself like that put him on edge. You distracted REV-9 by grabbing Levi's gun and shooting it.

"Levi, I'm sorry I put myself in danger."

You apologized, but you knew it wasn't enough for him. He pushed on the brakes and pulled off-road, putting the truck in park. His hands gripped the wheel so hard you could see his veins in the dim light of night.

"You can't do that ever again. You hear me?" His tone was harsh and stern with you. You knew he meant well, but the tone got to you.

You ended up in tears, then ugly crying.

Levi heard your sniffles and turned to you. He took his hands off the wheel and instead, caressed your cheeks and wiped your tears.
He unbuckled him and your seatbelt then brought you into a comforting hug.

"You've saved me too many times before to risk yourself like that ever again, especially for me."
