Olivia entered the teachers lounge where the episode one table read would occur. She sat at her designated spot and opened her script to review over her lines for the first episode. Half way through her review, she heard someone enter the room and sit across from her.
"Hey," Joshua spoke and Olivia looked up from her script.
"Hey," she said and smiled. No matter how hard she tried to bury her feelings for Josh, they kept resurfacing. Thankfully before either of them could say anything else, Sofia, Julia, Matt, Dara, and the rest of the cast came piling in.
"Hey," Sofia said and slid into her chair beside Olivia.
"Thank god you showed up," Olivia said, quiet enough so only Sofia could hear.
"What? Why?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing.
"It was getting pretty awkward between Josh and I," Olivia whispered and glanced across the table where Josh caught her gaze and smiled. She quickly looked away and returned to her script.

After the read-through, Olivia began aimlessly wandering the halls of East High. She walked past the many vacant classrooms and heard muffled talking from inside one of them. She peered through the small window in the door and saw Josh with his back facing her, appearing to be on FaceTime with someone. Josh unconsciously shifted in his chair and Olivia could now see who he was talking to. She saw that it was none other than his girlfriend, Sabrina Carpenter. Olivia rolled her eyes and walked away from the classroom. As she continued wandering through the halls, her mind wandered as well. Why couldn't he date her instead? Was she not good enough?
"Olivia, are you okay?" She heard someone say. Olivia looked up from her shoes to see Matt sitting in the stairwell. She sat beside him on the stairs and gave no response.
"Why were you crying?" Matt asked when he got no answer from Olivia. She quickly wiped her tears from her cheeks. She had been so lost in her thoughts, she hadn't acknowledged them falling.
"I just thought that things would be different this year, but all my feelings just keep flooding back," she sighed and put her head in her hands.
"It must be hard for you, watching Josh with Sabrina," Matt sympathized. He was the only other cast member besides Sofia that knew the way she felt.
"I guess I thought that once I turned 18 last year, he would be mine, but I guess I was wrong," Olivia mumbled.

Jack opened the door to Daniel's house and was greeted with Kobe jumping at his legs.
"Hi buddy!" he exclaimed and picked up the little black dog. Jack carried Kobe to Daniel's studio room where Daniel sat at his desk working on something.
"Hey bro, is no one else here yet?" Jack asked. Daniel looked up at him and shook his head before looking back at the computer. Jack sat on the couch and continued to pet Kobe. He then heard Daniel's front door opening again and heard footsteps entering the studio.
"Sup dudes!" Zach exclaimed and both Jack and Daniel looked up at him with surprised expressions.
"Zach, what are you doing here?" Jack chuckled.
"What do you mean?" He asked and flopped onto the couch, accidentally waking the sleeping puppy on Jack's lap.
"You woke the dog up, you big stupid!" Jack scolded.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Zach gasped and took Kobe from Jack's grasp, kissing the top of his head. "How's my puppy doing?"
"Why does everyone always automatically assume Kobe is theirs? He's my dog," Daniel complained and Zach just shrugged. "Plus, what are you doing here on time and before Jonah and Corbyn?"
"Wait, you mean I'm not the last one here?" Zach's face lit up as the front door opened and the last two bandmates waltzed into the studio. "Haha, in your face losers!" he cackled and they both looked at him with confused expressions.
"What's wrong with him?" Corbyn laughed.
"And why is he here before us?" Jonah added surprised.
"That's why he's laughing you idiots," Jack told them.
"Aww, Kobe! You're so cute!" Corbyn exclaimed and stole him from Zach.
"Hey! I was petting him!" he pouted.
"Again, he's my dog," Daniel rolled his eyes and all four of his bandmates just laughed at him.

All five Why Don't We members sat on the couch in front of their computer where seven lucky fans were on a zoom call with them.
"How are y'all doing?" Daniel asked.
"Great," one of them replied. "How are you guys?"
"We're doing pretty great," Daniel answered.
"You'll never believe this, but today Zach actually arrived here before Jonah and I," Corbyn said causing the fans to smile.
"That's a true statement," Zach seconded raising his finger and they all laughed.

Jack finally returned home after a long day full of promo and interviews for the album. When he entered the front door, he was greeted by his mom Kristin
"How was work Jack?" Kristin asked.
"Lots of interviews and we worked on some beats, the usual," he replied. "We also had a virtual meet and greet with some fans too."
"That's great sweetheart, I know how much you miss interacting with fans," Kristin smiled lovingly and rubbed her son's shoulder. Jack smiled back before leaving the kitchen and entering the living room where his youngest sister sat on her phone.
"Hey," she said, not looking up from her screen.
"Wow, thanks for the attention," he smiled sarcastically just getting an eye roll in return. "Goodness, is this what Lav's gonna be like in ten years?"
"Oh, just you wait honey!" Kristin chuckled from the kitchen causing Jack to laugh nervously.
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" Isla randomly exclaimed, starting to hyperventilate.
"What now?" Jack asked annoyed.
"Olivia Rodrigo is releasing a song on Friday!!" She exclaimed.
"Am I supposed to know who that is?"
"She plays Nini from HSMTMTS," Isla explained and Jack stared at her with a blank expression on his face, still not knowing who she was talking about. Isla rolled her eyes and turned the screen so Jack could see a photo of her.
"Oh that girl!" he said, it finally clicking who she was. "That's cool."
