When Two Worlds Collide || CHAPTER FOUR

Salt Lake City, Utah

When Olivia woke up that morning, her thoughts were jumbled and her heart was beating quickly. Tonight at midnight, she would be releasing her debut single "Drivers License" into the world. Of course she was anxious about the fans' response to the song, but she was way more worried about what Josh would say.

She entered the school building and was instantly met by her cast mates.
"I can't wait for tonight!" Sofia exclaimed, pulling Olivia into a tight hug. When they pulled away, she was brought into another hug from Julia followed by Matt.
"Aww thank you guys," Olivia smiled. It made her feel happy at how supportive her friends were.
"Olivia!" she heard from behind her and turned to see Josh waving her over. She walked over to him and he engulfed her in a huge hug.
"I can't wait to hear your song tonight, Liv," he said softly, pulling away a few moments later.
"Thanks Josh, that really means a lot," she smiled. This was one of those moments with Josh that Olivia completely forgot about the fact that she liked him while he was dating another girl. It was just her and him, acting like the best friends they were.

"Ricky, I'm moving to Denver," Olivia recited, receiving looks of surprise and disbelief from Josh and her other costars.
"Cut! Episode one is wrapped!" The director announced and everyone stood up from their places.
"It's noon," Sofia smiled, coming up behind Olivia. "Only twelve more hours."
"Wow, that's super intimidating," she chuckled nervously.
"I promise everything will be fine! Remember how much All I Want blew up?" Sofia reassured.
"Well that's 'cause it was in the show," Olivia said. "I'd be surprised if my song got half the support."
"Only half? I'm calling twice as much!" Sofia exclaimed causing Olivia to let out a laugh.
"We'll see."

Finally, after a few more long hours of filming, episode two had wrapped. Olivia slung her bag over her shoulder and turned to start walking toward the exit. She had only taken a few steps forward before she felt a hand on her shoulder, holding her back. She looked back to see Josh behind her, grinning.
"Oh hey," she smiled back at him.
"I was going to walk you to your car if that's okay," he suggested.
"You don't have to," Olivia's cheeks flushed at the offer and she looked down at the black Converse on her feet.
"But I want to. I mean, it's your big day," Josh said and Olivia looked up at him, a small smile forming on her face.
"Oh alright," she playfully rolled her eyes receiving a "yay" from Josh. They exited the school walking side by side, talking about random things. Too soon, they had crossed the parking lot and reached Olivia's car.
"I'll be watching tonight," Josh smiled at her, referring to the livestream she was doing in anticipation of her song.
Olivia just smiled back at him in response, gazing into his dark brown eyes.
"Okay," she finally answered. "I should, uh, get going."
"Yeah, of course. I'll see you tomorrow," he said before walking away to his own car. Olivia sighed and opened her car door, sliding into the seat before shutting the door behind her. The car ride to her apartment felt like hours due to her uneasy nerves, but eventually she had made it.

Olivia entered her apartment, set her bag down, and checked the time. It was only six, so she had plenty of time to kill. Olivia connected her phone to her Bluetooth speaker, shuffling her upbeat playlist, and began to prepare herself dinner. She danced a bit and hummed to the music while she cooked. The current song she was listening to had ended and a new song played. She had heard a few times, enough to recognize it, but wasn't too familiar with it. She believed it was called Trust Fund Baby by a band she couldn't remember the name of. Although she wasn't too familiar with the song, Olivia danced to it anyway.

After she got done eating, she decided to set up the backdrop for the livestream. Olivia had bought tons of pink streamers and silver metallic letters that spelled out "I Got My Drivers License". She continued listening to music and humming, occasionally singing, along as she set everything up to her liking.
