Chapter 8- Does happily ever after even exist?

Jack's POV~

I stared at the letter in silence as tears dripped down my cheek. It's impossible... How can she be a fake? She.... She was real.

Silently, I knew. I knew that everything was true. Otherwise, why would she constintantly do things for me? She sacrificed herself for me and even betrayed everybody else for my sake! But.. why me? Just to balance nature out? Just so winter would come back every year?

I put a hand in my pocket and heard some crinkling sounds. I pulled it out slowly and found a rolled up paper. I unfolded it and read the contents.

Jack,

3 south, 4 north, 5 right. 12 hours.

-Yuki

"3 south... 4 north... 5 right...?" I thought about it for a moment and then threw it across the room. Who cares about it now? That won't bring her back? It have just been a stupid reminder for later....

I stood up slowly and thought about the note for a while. It says that the sender is Yuki, but I don't know somebody named Yuki.. Unless...

I searched my mind mentally thinking about the meaning of the name.

Okay... I know Miyuki means Snow... So I'm guessing yuki is short for snow in japanese? Ugh.. her and her obsession with speaking japanese.... WAIt. Then the note was from Snow!!!

I took it out of my pocket again and stared at what it said. I just couldn't figure out what it meant.

I know that there is a time limit to this since it says 12 hours... it could deal with the spell that she used to seal Aoi. But I don't get why she said the directions....

Maybe I should ask Santa for a book about ice spells. It might say something about it... I think the spell was Kooru Ugokuna...

I walked out of the room and saw that Easter Bunny's place was empty.

"They must have gone to the North pole," I said outloud and walked out of the place.

I flew out of there and through towns. Everybody was getting ready for Christmas. Carols were heard through the streets.

I frowned after hearing that. "More like the worst..." i mumbled.

I reached the North pole and sure enough, everyone was there. I walked inside and into the room with the globe.

"Santa," I said suddenly, getting everybody's attention. 'I have a request."

"Jack," Tooth Fairy gasped. "The note-"

"i read it," I said bluntly. "Do you have a book about ice spells?"

"I do, it's in my room.... But Jack, why do you need it?" Santa raised an eyebrow at me.

I walked past him the second he said that and went into this office. "THANKS!" I yelled as i went past him.

I searched his shelves and finally, after about thirty minutes, I found it under some other old books.

"Freeze: Ice Spells," I read out loud. (Sorry if the name is weird. I'm rushing through this and I cant think of an awesome name for the title)

I opened the book and searched for Kooru Ugokani. I finally found it at the back of the book. It was the last page and labeled as "S-Class"
