"LOUIS!!" Harry shouted as he walked along the gravel pathway around the park he and Louis and stopped at. He wasn't all too familiar with it as he had only been here once or twice throughout his high school years to eat lunch when Liam or Noelle wasn't at school.

There was no response. It had been over an hour since Louis had ran off angrily and Harry was growing awfully worried.

As he turned a corner that brought him back to where he had begun he heard the sound of a twig snapping. He jumped back at the loud sound and stumbled backwards, landing on the palm of his hands causing gravel to press into his skin.

"Ouch" he whined as he wiped his hands off and stood up, wiping the dust off of his trousers. "Louis?" He quietly said as he saw a smaller figure moving about in the small area around the pond. He moved slowly to where the figure was sitting looking into the pond.

"Shit Hazz, you nearly scared me shitless" Louis said as he turned around quickly and placed a hand across his heart. "Sorry" Harry said as he looked down shyly and moved to sit next to Louis.

"Why'd you run off on me?" He asked, using a stick to draw a smiley face in the mud. Louis looked up and over to the taller boy and sighed. "I just got frustrated, that's all" Harry frowned and studied the look that was coming off on Louis' face, he was lying. It was more than frustration.

"Why are you lying to me Lou?" Louis looked down at the pond and tossed a pebble into the water, making it ripple a little. "I don't know" Harry looked back down at the pond again, also chucking a pebble into the now stilled water.

"What is it then? I want to know. I care about you. I'm not going to judge you." Louis nodded and knew Harry was being honest as the tone of voice he was using was filled with sincerity and concern.  "Can we please talk about something else? I don't wanna make you feel bad for me or anything." Harry looked back up at Louis and frowned again. "Lou please. I love and care about you so much, I just want to know what's going on so I know what I can do to make you feel better, and I know that I can't make everything better but I know I can at least make something better." Louis smiled and smoothed his thumb across Harry's cheek. He could feel how cold Harry's face was and it made his thumb tense. Harry leaned into his touch, practically melting.

Louis' touch made his heart feel light and it made his stomach ooze with butterflies.

Louis leaned in and gently placed a kiss on Harry's soft lips. It was a very light, yet perfect kiss. Harry smiled and leaned his forehead against the smaller boy's. After a few moments Louis pulled away and faced back to the pond. "My dad," he said quietly. Harry raised his eyebrows and tilted his head, he was kind of confused and didn't understand why he had said that. "What about your dad?" Louis stayed facing the pond and threw a few more pebbles into the water.

"My dad has always told me I wasn't worthy of love or family and so I guess when you told me how you didn't want me to owe how I am all to you because of how something could possibly happen between us or to one of us that you know, might not end well. I just couldn't help but think about how you imagine us not being together sometimes." Louis stopped talking and pulled the sleeve of his sweater over his hands and wiped away a few tears that had escaped from his eyes. Harry frowned and reached over, using his thumb to wipe a few tears that Louis had missed.

"And I guess that made me think about what my dad said about me not being worthy of love or family and how nobody wants me and it made me hurt and feel like my dad was right." A few more tears streamed down his face. "Fuck" he quietly chuckled, trying to hide the sound of his shaky voice. "Lou you're dad was anything but right. You are worthy of so much. More than you could ever even imagine. Hell you deserve so much better than me." Louis laughed and shook his head.
