My Hero Acedemia

The wind blew through my hair as ran through the alleyways of Tokyo. Angered yelling and explosions following after me, I had caught the attention of some very dangerous people tonight, but I couldn't let up now. I rounded a corner and bumped into a very familiar face.

"(Y/N)? What are you-," Before the dark hair boy could finish I scamper off using my quirk to fall through the asphalt beneath me into the sewers. Muffled curses ensued above me, I know Dabi could take the hero, but I owe him big for it.

Rushing through the sewers in the dark wasn't preferred after a heist, but it wasn't unusual. I could go up top and walk among the regular commuters, but the sewage smell that'd follow me would make me stick out like a sore thumb. Shaking my head I trudge through the underground maze, knowing my way even through the dark.

When I was far enough away from my entry point I climbed back out through the concrete, smiling at my destination. A really shitty bar, with even shittier people inside. I grit my teeth at the argument that will happen once Tomura figures out that I dragged Dabi into the plan. Shaking my head I enter the bar and wave to Kurogiri for my usual. The misty man nodded and began mixing my drink of choice.

"(Y/N)-chan!! How'd it go?" Himiko bounced towards me cheerily nearly hugging me before getting a whiff of the sewers I was in moments ago. She backed up, dramatically gagging before holding her nose with one hand. "Not well apparently, you smell like ass!"

I scoff and walk around her grabbing my drink before going into the back rooms, not bothering to navigate the maze like corridors and rather just using my quirk to become intangible. Walking through walls until I reached the bosses room. Placing the empty glass on his side table I knocked on the wall startling the red eyed man into a defensive position, nearly costing me my life.

"For someone who was centimeters from disintegration you're calm," Shigaraki backed off wiping the dust off his hands.

"You owe me another shirt Shig," I shake the dust from my torso and my sports bra. "Anyway here's that thing you wanted."

"Yes set it on the table, how much attention did you draw to yourself?" He cut straight to the point, making me wince. I take a page from his book and begin to scratch my neck.

"You see I hadn't realized that your failed convertee was on patrol on the area, but he didn't catch me or knows that I'm here," my voice is nervous avoiding how I escaped the explosive man. By the way Shigaraki was grumbling to himself I could tell I wasn't in too much trouble. Letting out a sigh of relief I turn towards the door, opting to take the longer route out rather than overuse my quirk. "Oh and I may have accidentally got Dabi caught in the fray during my escape."

Shigaraki laughs at me callously, red eyes boring into me.

"You'd better hope he got away, he has your payment."

And with that I paled. Shit. There's nothing worse than an unpaid mercenary, but that's what I am now. Growling to myself I turn and slam the door. Clenching and unclenching my hands in anger. My head low as a mentally beat myself for practically throwing my money away. Walking through the maze and out into the bar again shirtless made Himiko giggle.

"Seems like things went well between you and the boss. Aye (Y/N)- chan?" Wiggling her eyebrows suggestively at me. I roll my eyes resisting a blush. "Aw look Kurogiri! She's blushing~"

Kurogiri seems to shake his head in disapproval at Toga's teasing, being the only mature functioning adult here. Figuratively anyway.

"Bump off Himiko, you know that's not what happened. Shig just dusted my shirt cause I snuck up on him again." I can't help but roll my eyes at the girl as she kept bubbling strange stories of romance between the boss and me. I shake her off and look at Kurogiri silently nodding for another drink. While he nods back in kind, mixing another alcoholic beverage to send me home. Moving to sit on the barstools by the counter I feel eyes on me, which isn't unusual, but also isn't welcomed. Turning my head to look around I notice a fuming Dabi in the doorway nearly on fire.
