Dylan's P.O.V.

Finally, the detention is over. Two worst hours in my day. The blond girl with glasses is out first. I start walking out when Theresa stops me.

Theresa: Hey Dylan.

She's walking toward me- close, too close. She has a crush on me since she met me and I really don't like her. She's a hoe- just like that girl Sandrine.

Dylan: What...

She's just looking at me.

Theresa: I'll give you a hundred dollars if you fuck that blond girl.

I realize Theresa is leaning on me and I move away.

Dylan: You're kidding. She looks like she doesn't even know what that is.
Theresa: Are you scared?

I roll my eyes.

Dylan: What is in it for you?
Theresa: If you don't do it this week...
Dylan: This week? I'll need a week to find out her name probably.
Theresa: Okay, two weeks.
Dylan: A month.
Theresa: Fine. But she has to tell me that.

Dylan: And what is it in that for you?
Theresa: Nothing. Just some fun.

I'm looking at her- that has to be a lie.

Theresa: Okay. If you don't do it, you have to fuck me.
Dyan: You're so desperate...
Theresa: I'm not desperate.
Dylan: You just need someone good after that "girl experiment"
Theresa: Not your damn business. Are you in or not?
Dylan: Not a chance.
Jensen: Why? Are you scared?

I knew Jensen is in this too. He thinks he's something special because of that piercings...

Theresa: Dylan is scared! What... Afraid she'll reject you?

I smile.

Dylan: She? Rejecting me? You can't be serious.
Theresa: Then it's a deal?

I'm looking at two of them a bit. Oh, what the hell...

Dylan: Deal.

What did I get myself into... Theresa smiles and I start walking out of that room. She's crazy if she thinks I'll lose. Besides, I have enough experience- this should be over after a week.

Joyce P.O.V

Joyce: I'm telling you, it was awful!
Martha: As always, you're making a big deal out of nothing. The detention isn't the worst thing ever. You forgot I was there too.
Joyce: I don't wanna talk about it...
Martha: Did you meet that tall guy I did?

Joyce: I don't wanna talk about that either.

Martha: You did. Meet me at the coffee shop!
Joyce: What? Why?
Martha: So you can tell me all about it.
Joyce: About what?
Martha: Don't pretend to be stupid. Meet me there for 10 minutes or I'll come to your place.
Joyce: Okay, okay...

And that's how I end up at the coffee shop at 10 p.m. Instead of reading something in my bed, I'm looking at Martha ordering us drinks. Immediately when the bartender left, she asks,

Martha: And? Tell me everything.
Joyce: Tell you what?
Martha: How was it? Did you meet Theresa?
Joyce: Yeah... She copied my paper.
Martha: So she's still the same. And her friend with piercings?
Joyce: I hadn't talked to him. Why do you want to know those things?

Martha: Just asking. Maybe you can make friends with someone so we can...
Joyce: I don't even wanna hear the end of that sentence. I'm not gonna spend any more time with any of them.

Martha rolled her eyes.

Joyce: Don't do that!
Martha: What?
Joyce: Rolling your eyes.
Martha: Whatever. Sometimes I would like to go to parties and everything. I mean, I'm 18 and I haven't even tried... anything.
Joyce: You tried that wine the last summer...
Martha: Great. The tall guy tried drinking, everything, and smoking... everything.

Joyce: Actually, his name is Dylan. I heard the guy with piercings talking to him today.
Martha: Does it matter?
Joyce: Not really.
