Short Asf Chapter but it's very important and interesting.

I've never been doing a Nates POV so here it goes.

NATE's POV

I felt so confused. Was I even dead.

"Where am-" I was cut off by the voice I've been missing since I was six years of age.

"Hey baby." My mom cooed.

"Mom?" I asked turning around.

"Yeah it's me baby." She said wrapping her arms around my shoulders as I tightened my grip around her. God this felt so real.

I looked up see my mom crying but she pulled my cheeks into both of her hands

"Listen I don't have much time but I wanted you to know that I didn't mean to leave you. Maybe God had another plan for you-"

"Am I dead?" I asked staring at my lifeless body as Rachel sat there in the uncomfortable chair holding my hand. She looked so...different and it's my fault. Maybe I would've been driving slow we would still be happy. Now my girlfriend is depressed.

"I don't know baby that's your choice. Do you love her?" She asked

"More than anything." I said staring at Rachel in that uncomfortable chair.

"Then do it for her. Wake up for her." She said.

"How do I do that?" I asked.

"I don't know. That's for you to find out. It's time for me to go but I'll see you when the times right. By Nathan." She said saying my full name before disappearing into mid air.

My life was in my hands. Literally.

Rachel's POV

I sat here in this uncomfortable chair as I held Nate's hand with his loose grip.

What if he was to wake up the same.
Would he still be normal? Will the brain damage affect him? Either way I will always want him. Different or not.
