y/n POV

Tetsurō.

He wants me to call him Tetsurō.

I hate love, it's too confusing.

It was the day of the spring prelims and I could think about was the messy haired boy. It was the semifinals and to make it into nationals they had to get third place or higher. I knew for sure Fukurōdani and Itachiyama were getting in, but who would join them was unknown.

"y/n-chan, cmon, let's watch here," Mika says dragging me to the stands.

"Mika-chan, you're being so rough with my arm."

"I have to get a good seat!"

"Okay okay."

We take a seat near the front to try and get a good view. We were watching the Nohebi vs Itachiyama match. I wanted to watch Fukurōdani vs Nekoma, but I didn't want to be called a traitor.

Their match ended like I thought, Itachiyama won and advanced to the finals and Nohebi was going to verse the losers of Nekoma and Fukurōdani's match.

Nohebi was going to be versing Nekoma.

This isn't good. I liked both teams.

Their match started and it looked like Nekoma just couldn't get into the match. Nohebi was controlling the entire flow. I looked over at Mika and saw her with stars in her eyes.

"y/n-chan, look at how cool Suguru looks!" she says amazed.

While Mika was busy staring at Daishō, I stared at Kuroo. I couldn't help it, I mean he is tall and strong.

Nekoma took the first set and it was time for the second. They were in a better shape than last set, but Yaku injured his ankle trying to dig a ball. I watched as he limped over and sat in the bench. My heart snapped seeing him in that state, I know how he is going to blame himself. Shibayama subbed in for Yaku, but was instantly targeted by Nohebi.

The set was close, but it ended as a win for Nekoma. Mika looked sad for Suguru, but she'll be able to comfort him.

"Hey, I'm going to go find Fukurōdani and a Nekoma and say hi to them," I say to Mika. "Tell Daishō-san and the rest of Nohebi that they did amazing."

"Okay, I will," she smiles, "Go to your man."

"He's not my man, I didn't confess."

"y/n! You said you were going to, confess before someone else does."

"I know, I just chickened out. He has nationals to worry about now, I don't want to add any extra stress for him," I say leaving, "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, bye bye!" she waves.

She is right though. Sato could like him, and she could confess. Kuroo would probably agree, why wouldn't he. Sato is gorgeous.

I finally see Nekoma and snap out my thoughts. I push my feelings away and face them with a smile.

"CONGRATS!" I exclaimed, "You guys are going to nationals, that's crazy."

"l/n-san, you actually came," Yamamoto says with tears in his eyes.

"Of course, I said I would. Yaku-kun, how is your ankle?" I ask.

"It's okay, should heal in around a week or so," he says.

"Okay, I'm going to go find Fukurōdani now, Bokuto-kun would be upset if I didn't say hi to him too," I say, "But you guys did amazing, I can't wait to watch you during the nationals!"

"Oh wait y/n-chan, I'll go with you. I wanna see who won," Kuroo says.

I nod my head and wait for him to catch up. We walk around for a little looking for Fukurōdani. It looks like their match ended and Itachiyama won. We finally found them getting ready to leave.

"BOKUTO-KUN."

"L/N-CHAN," he says turning around.

He runs over and gives me a hug, slightly suffocating me.

"Hello l/n-san," Akaashi says.

"Hey Akaashi-kun, how was your match?"

"We lost, but it's okay. We are going to beat them in nationals," Bokuto says seriously.

This is the first time I have ever seen Bokuto get serious like this. It was unnerving seeing how serious this usually cheery boy could get.

"You are going to watch us at nationals right?" Bokuto asks.

"Yea of course. I probably won't be able to watch all the matches, but I'll go to as many as I can," I smile.

"Okay, get ready to see me win," Bokuto says, "Oh we have to leave now. Bye l/n-chan!"

"Why doesn't anyone ever say bye to me as well. It's always when y/n-chan is beside me too," Kuroo pouts.

"There there," I say patting his back.

Akaashi starts looking curiously at us and opens his mouth but then closes it quickly.

Weird.

"Bye Akaashi-kun, bye Bokuto-kun, I can't wait to see you at nationals!" I say waving to them.

They wave back as they enter the bus. I turn to Kuroo and we start walking back.

"You're working after this right?" he asks.

"Yea, I have the closing shift again today."

"Could I bring the team over? I want to treat them to like meat buns or ice cream or something."

"You don't have to ask," I laugh, "It's a convenience store."

"Yea I know, but still," he says.

"Yes bring them over. We can walk together, unless you have something you need to do right now."

"Yea we have to go back to Nekoma for a little, so we will meet you there."

"Oh okay," I say staring at the ground, "Well, I should get going or I'll be late. See you soon Tetsurō-kun."

"See you soon y/n-chan, stay safe."
