Chapter 6: Team Training/ He's Here!!

It's the next day sensei wanted us to arrive at the training ground at 7am on the dot. He also said to not eat anything or you'll puke. But I grabbed a piece of toast before leaving. I arrived at the training ground before anyone else. It's 6:30, I sigh and slump against a tree and lay on the ground with my back and head against the tree. I decide to close my eyes I didn't get a good amount of sleep last night.
Since I was so excited to be a older sister to a baby sister or brother. I close my eyes to take a little nap. I feel someone shake my shoulders I open my eyes and see Kakashi trying to wake me up. He sighs and says "Thank god I thought something happened to you. You weren't responding when I called out to you."
I shyly says "Is everyone else here?"
He says "Everyone accept Sensei Minato he's late again"
He sighs and I say "I'm guessing he's always gonna be late."
I laugh at that and he does a little chuckle and says "Maybe."
Kakashi smiles and sits next to me leaning against the tree.
I lay my head on his shoulder and say "Wake me when he gets here please."
Kakashi nods his head and says "Sure thing."
I smile and close my eyes.
————————Kakashi POV—————
I look down at my shoulder to see y/n sleeping peacefully. I think to myself she looks so beautiful and peaceful. I'm so lucky I have her as a friend but I want to be more. But she probably doesn't feel the same. She said so herself that right now she is focused on being one of the best ninja. But I can't help myself from looking at her she has beautiful long black hair and onyx eyes I could get lost in forever. Then there's her personality she is smart, confident, kind, caring and thinks about others before herself. Then I'm snapped out of my train of thought by Rin. She sees me and squils and runs to me. I sigh and she notices that y/n has her head against my shoulder and then I can see in her eyes fill with jealousy and anger. She says "What are you doing with her she's a nobody."
She says with sass and anger.
I say "For your information Rin, She has a name and it's Y/n. Also she happens to be my best friend, so don't you dare try anything."
She gasps and says "Fine, Whatever!"
She stomps away, I roll my eyes and think why is she so annoying?
The sensei Minato walks over to us casually and says "Hey guys are we already to start training?"
Rin and Obito nod their heads, Minato looks at me and Y/n.
He walks over to us and he says "Is y/n ok?"
I nod my head and say "She's just sleeping I'll wake her."
Minato puts his hand up meaning no.
He says "Let me wake her, go stand with the others. I'll be over in a minute when I wake her."
I nod my head and get up, y/n was now leaning against the tree.
I see Minato shake her shoulders.

————————Y/N POV——————
I awake to someone shaking my shoulders.
I groan with my eyes still closed and say "Kakashi when I said to wake me up. I thought you were gonna like tap my shoulder not shake my shoulders."
I open my eyes to see that it's Minato sensei who is shaking my shoulders.
I Yelp and say "Im so sorry sensei I thought you were Kakashi. My apologies."
I bow and I hear a chuckle and I look up to see who is chuckling to see Minato sensei chuckling.
I pout and say "What's so funny?"
He ruffles my hair and says "It's alright y/n I understand. Now let's start training."
I get up and stand next to Kakashi and nudge his shoulder. He looks at me and I say "Thanks for waking me up."
He smirks under his mask and rolls his eyes.
After Training Minato Sensei wanted us to have team photo tomorrow.
Me and Kakashi start walking to my house, once we were close I said "Thanks Kakashi for the walk home. I'll see you tomorrow."
He says "No problem see ya tomorrow."
I smile at him and say "Goodnight, get home safe."
With that he walks away and walk down my street.
I get home and see mommy cooking dinner and I don't see dad he must be at the station.
I say "Hey mom I'm home."
She turns around and smiles.
If your wondering my mom is close to her due date with the baby.
About another week or two is her due date.
Anyway she says "Hi y/n how was your day?"
I say "Well I took a nap waiting for Minato Sensei to arrive. I got shaken awake I thought it was Kakashi but it was Minato Sensei.
After that we all trained, which was mostly Rin trying to flirt with kakashi. Obito trying to get Rins attention, Kakashi staying with me."
She says "That sounds eventful."
I say "Mom is dad still working it's dinner time, he should be home."
She says "He might be late again tonight like last night."
I say "Why don't I make him a bento box with dinner in it. Since he's stuck at the station he must be hungry. I can bring it to him, I'll be really quick."
Mom says "That sounds like a good idea, I bet your father will love that."
I fix up a bento and fill it up with dinner, I took some of what is for dinner and placed it in the bento.
After I was done I look to mom and say "I'll be right back, I'm gonna deliver this to dad. I'll be quick I promise."
She nods and with that I leave and head to the station.
Once I get there I see that there aren't that many people there. Probably because it's night time.
I walk into the station and see a few people there at their desks.
I see my dad and walk to him, he mustn't have noticed me.
I get to his desk and say "Hi dad."
He looks up at me and says "Y/n? What are you doing here?"
I say "Dad I brought you dinner. I figured you would be hungry."
He looks at me and smiles, he says "Thank you Y/n, that's very thoughtful of you."
I smile brightly at him as he ruffles my hair and he says "I'm sorry y/n but it appears I won't be coming home tonight, I have way to much paperwork."
I say "It's alright, don't worry. I just want you to be ok, that includes you getting rest dad."
He smiles and says "What did I ever do to deserve an amazing daughter like you?"
I smile and say "I don't know, but I'm glad I have you and mom as my parents. I couldn't ask for anyone else to be my parents."
I see dad have a tear leave his eye, He wipes the tear away and he says "Aww y/n that's so sweet of you to say. We are so lucky to have you as a daughter."
I glance at the clock on dads desk and see I've been gone way longer then expected.
I say "I gotta go, I promised mom I would be quick with delivering your food."
He gives my head a kiss and says "Alright, Give your mom a hug for me ok?"
I nod my head and run back home.
When I get home I take off my shoes and head into the kitchen/dinging room. I don't see mom so I say "Mom where are you?"
I hear a noise in the next room which is the living room.
I go into the living room and see mom on the ground groaning in pain.
She sees me and says "Y-Y/n honey I need to go to the hospital now. My water broke your brother is coming."
I help her up and bring her to the hospital once there I tell the lady at the desk what's wrong and she takes mom away into a room.
That I assume is the delivery room, I run back to the police station. For me to get dad, I see dad and run up to him. I say "Dad quickly moms having my little brother now. She's at the hospital now as we speak."
He gets up and we rush to the hospital dad goes into moms room and I was told to stay in the waiting room and when mom was done dad will come out here and get me.
I soon fall asleep because of how late it has gotten.

———————TIME SKIP—————
I feel someone shake my shoulders I wake up and see dad with a smile on his face.
He says "Y/n do you wanna meet your little brother?"
I suddenly get a lot of energy from excitement, I nod my head and say "Of course!"
We head into moms room and I see mom holding my baby brother.
I say "What's his name?"
Mom looks at dad and smiles, she says "His name is Itachi."
I look at her with hope in my eyes and say
"Can I hold him?"
Mom nods her head and show me how to hold him.
I look down at Itachi as he opens his eyes for the first time.
I smile kindly and say "Hi Itachi, I'm your big sis Y/n."
Itachi looks at me and cooes, he giggles and reaches his hand up to my cheek.
When he touches my cheek he giggles and smiles at me.
I hand Itachi back to mom she looks at me and smiles.
She says "Y/n I think your gonna be a great big sister."
