Prologue Part 2: A Family of Darkness Giving Kindness

Ainz P.o.V:

I don my appearance of Ainz Ooal Gown, and hover above Nazarick, which was concealed by magic with the boy still in my arms. As I float down, I am soo greeted by Mare.

Mare: "W-welcome back.." *I merely greet him with a simple grunt as he hands me the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown*  "Um, here you go.." *I once again grunt thanking him as I take my ring back and put it back on* "Lord..Ainz..if I may ask?" *looks at the unconscious brown haired fox boy* "W-who is he and what has happened to him?"

"That is what I want to find out... Has Albedo gone out, as well?"

Mare: "No, she's inside... Um she said she would be waiting for you in your room, Lord Ainz."

"I see. She may have an urgent, secret report for me."  *I raise my arm and active the same ring that was given to me* "I will go there immediately after I drop the boy in our guest room until he gain consciousness." 

And with that I teleport to the 9th floor where I first drop off the boy on the guest bed. As I do I couldn't help but feel..a bit sorry for this child... all he looks so thin..banged up and bruised..The healing potion helped a bit.. but the scar on his eye hasn't healed much..it may need my magic in order to heal it.

"What happened to you boy?"

My emotion dampener kicks in, which cuts off my feelings to the side before teleporting myself to the doorway to the throne room, where I see greeting by Albedo.

Albedo: *gleeful seductive look on her face* "Welcome home Lord Ainz~~" *moves in close to me which caught me off guard* "Would you like to have dinner? Would you like a bath? Or, perhaps.... would... you.... like.. to have me?"

I was speechless to the point where my emotion dampener kicked in.

"What is the meaning of this, Albedo?"

Albeldo: *explains* "Newlywed role-playing. I heard there that there is no better way for a new bride to greet her husband, after he has taken his pet with him to work alone away from home. How do you like it?"

*Thinking* 'So that's it. She hasn't gone outside today because she wanted to do this.' *scoffs in head* 'Who cares about the why? Ugh,I've never even gone out with a woman, let alone gotten married, so what does she expect me to say? In this situation, what would a ruler-- or rather, a ladies' man do?'

*Finally speaks* "It was quite appealing, Albedo."

Albedo: *gasps in excitement* "I'm glad to hear it!"*giggles excitement before looking up causing me to freak out before gasping in horror*

"What's wrong?!"

Albedo: "I messed up! Ordinarily, etiquette dictates that a new bride would greet her husband for the final showdown, dessed in nothing but an apron. If you say the word, I will correct it at once.~"

"Huh?"

Albedo: "Of course, I will change right before your eyes, Lord Ainz."

*thinking as she speaks* 'Albedo and the other NPCs that my pals created are like children, in a sense.  I couldn't do anything uncalled-for to those who are so dear to me. Besides, I think Albedo is like this now because I rewrote her settings. Wait....' *thinking of the boy* 'He wasn't in the settings...so where did he come from?'

*coughs* "Albedo,  it's time we stopped goofing around. We have to hold a debriefing to resolve the data we've gathered."

Albedo: *stands up assertive* "As you wish, Lord Ainz."
