Chapter 10: A Long Time Coming Part 1

A few days has past since Y/n established the treaty with Remnant's Leaders and Nazarick. And Everyone has done as agreed so far. Y/n had placed Portal Generator in secluded location all over Remnant (except for Menagerie as Y/n as he knew how Jacques operates).  Ozpin had set up a dorm for Y/n, Mare and Aura to live in when 1st years arrive.

All that was really left was Salem...and his 'reunion' with Cinder.

(In Nazarick:)

Mare: "A-are you sure this is wise Lord Y/n?" *Y/n looks over behind to see Albedo, Shalltear, Aura and Mare with worried looks on their faces* 

Y/n: "Yes...why ask such a question now?"

Shalltear: "Because that Cinder is Beneath you!"

Aura: "Yeah I mean this is the girl who you know caused your death...and so much pain in your past and- "

Y/n: "More the reason to face her face to face.....Besides I want answers more than anything..." *looks away and gets up from his seat* 

Albedo: "But Lord Y/n! You should at least allow her suffe-" *Y/n immediately slams his fist straight down thru the table breaking it startling them*

Y/n: *in cold tone snapping* "I will not stoop to her level!" *calms down and looks down ashamed* "A-ah..sorry I didn't mean to stamp at you all...I understand your feelings...but.." *looks away as memories of his past flood his mind* "This is a battle.. I must do alone.."

Aura: "N-no it's not your fault.."  *Y/n looks up to see them bowing their heads* "Please forgive us, it was rude of us to think of interfering with your judgement, Lord Y/n."

Y/n: "N-no..you all were just worried for my well being is all well being.. Sorry.." *before anything else could happen someone knocks on the door* "Oh ..come in!" 

The door opens to reveal Pestonya entering the room

Pestonya: "Lord Y/n it's time.."

Y/n: "Excellent..." *gets up and walks off the others look over to him* "Don't worry.. I'll be alright.. Aunt Raven and Mom are going to keep a eye out on the whole thing.and I'm no longer the same kid I was before." *the others look mre at ease* "Anyways.. see you all later.." *his helmet piece of his armor retracts itself and he makes his way to the portal generator room back to Remnant.*

(Timeskip)

Y/n soon appears to the destination he was supposed to his Cinder. He looked around and immediately notice.... the massive Cheery Blossom tree in such a middle of a large patch of flowers down below where he was standing. He sighs as he walks down the from the hill. As he does memories began to flood into his head.

Memories of the only happy time he ever had back in his past. When he and Cinder would actually play with each other. They would play non-stop in this very area till A:they would get so tired, they would fall asleep, or B: Get called back for lunch time.

Y/n: *sighs thinking* 'Why here of all places?' *a thought crossed his mind*  'Actually before I do anything...' *quickly pulls out a electric dust crystal and shift to his Kaminari form and quickly speeds off in a volt of lighting to where the old Orphanage was. But when he gets there he was shocked to see..only a old destroyed remains of the orphanage. Only a few burned wood remains of it.* "Well that's a welcome sight to see." *quickly speeds back to the hill side return back to his original form when he get's there*

Y/n walks thru the field of flowers towards the massive cherry blossom tree. But as he does he took notice to the gravestone in front of it. 

Y/n: 'A grave stone?' *he looks over and his eyes widen for a second before lowering as he see the words* 

Rest In Peace Y/n

You were Taken away from the world too early. A gentle soul that didn't deserve cruelty and hate.

Y/n: *looks down as he kneels down before his own grave* 'So...this is where I was buried huh...that was...nice of them..' *He was so lost in thought that he didn't notice Cinder, Emerald and Mercury walking over and noticing him*

Mercury: *eyes widen to see Y/n* "Hey that's the jerk from before! The guy who stopped us from getting the fall maiden!" *cracking his knuckles*

Cinder: *looks at Mercury stopping him with a look of seriousness on her face* "No not here..this place is not a place for fighting.." 

Emerald: "Hey what's he doing?" *the three turn their focus on Y/n, who summons of bouquet of flowers and places them in front of his tombstone*  He must be an old aquientence of yours, Cinder."

Cinder: "Hmm..." *thinks* 'Well...he does seem familiar. Like.. someone  I known before...' finally speaks* "Stay right here you two..." *walks towards Y/n*

Y/n: *mumbles as Cinder approaches him* "you are going to live a better life..and"

Cinder: *speaks up catching Y/n's attention** "Excuse me?" 

Y/n turns his head towards Cinder before getting up.

Y/n: "Oh sorry I didn't notice you there.. I was..giving my respects..." *clenches his fist in anger but forces himself to calm down*

Cinder: "No..it's fine.." *looks over to Y/n's grave* "....He was..a really good person.." *had a sad look in her eyes which caused Y/n to go from 'Forcing to calm down' to had a look of concern*  "So I'm guessing you were the one who Lady Salem told us to meet.

Y/n:  "You would be correct.." *catches a glimpse of Raven (who was in her bird form, Nabe, and his mother: Vernal looking towards them thru the shadow* "So what happened to your friend here?"

Cinder: *struggling to answer* "...He.. fell...from a cliff....thru panic.. He...was attacked.. by.. someone close to him.. and well.."

Y/n: "That's....a-awful to here.." *thinking* 'I'm surprised your being blunt about it Cinder.'

Cinder: "....well probably to him..it was a mercy.." *Y/n looks of over to Cinder and see her began to shake* "The nuns in the orphanage...forced the rest of us..to do cruel things to him.. And i-if we didn't obey the head nun would used her semblance to make us..do it against our will.." *this surprised Y/n for a moment*

Y/n: "Wait..forced..."

Cinder: *"Yeah...her Semblance basically make it show nothing but resentment to a person by adding false thoughts.. But Y/n was the only one immune to the effects.... Which she didn't like.." *begins tearing up and shaking* "Y/n...w-was s-such a kind p-person.. H-he didn't deserve to be hated upon..."

Y/n: ".....Why did you do it Cinder?"

Cinder: "I.....I just told you...already..I."

Y/n: "If they were such false thoughts then why did you do it?"

Cinder: "I-...I.."

Emerald: *offscreen* "Hey wait a minute.." *Y/n looks over to Emerald and Mercury who had confused look on theor face*

Emerald: "How do you Cinder? She never introduced herself to you.."

Mercury: "Yeah... Who are you?!"

Y/n: *a long silence followed before Y/n let out a sigh* "I suppose you all deserve to know.... I go by many names... Vui Momonaga, Vui Ooal Gown..Vui Kitsukibo.. but I also have another name..before my time in Nazarick..." *the helmet falls back into his armor piece revealing his face. Cinder looks up and her eyes widen with disbelief to see..Y/n's face..looking towards the others* "I am Y/n 'Vui' Branwen.."
