"To our returning students welcome back. Some think that we have rebuilt the school and not left any memorial for those who have loss their lives during the second wizarding war. Apart from the forbidden forest into a memorial site. If you wish to visit you may, but we ask you to respect each other feeling with a sensitive subject"
Everyone has their loved ones in the war, they knew it needed not to be forgoton but to be remembered, as day continue peace and lost will be remembered.
She continued
"We hope we have a pleasant year at Hogwarts, and could all the seventh years stay behind please, I have some news to share. With that, let the feast begin!"
Plates began to appear and food after food appeared in the table. People started eating and chattering telling their break went.
"Hermione-" Ron started.
"Yes Ron?" I ask with a smile.
"Where have you been in the couple of months?" he asked not looking at me.
Everyone went silent and waited for my answer.
I gulp and sigh
"I wrote in the letter I have been with my family and have some things sorted" I said looking at him.
"Well that sorting must have taken you long enough that didn't let us hear from you for a couple of months" continuing eating.
"I guess your right, but I have some important things to be done Ronald" I said I bit irritated.
Can't he just understand I have some problems with my family ugh?
I was about to answer until Ginny interrupted.
"Hermione you're going to be my maid of honor okay!" she exclaimed.
" Sure gin it will be my honor" I smiled.
We continued eating with silence and until we were to finish. Student below went to the dorms and our year left behind.
Professor McGonagall standing up and cleared her throat to get everyone attention.
"Now student over the war many have lost due the lost the population of the
Wizarding world have decreased." she started
So the ministry have come up with a plan to re-populate the wizarding world. Mister shaklebolt will explain it to you"
Some student started to whisper and making bets about what could the announcement about that made the ministry of magic had to come. Just then, the middle of chaos stop and Kingsley Shakleblt apparated in.
"Hello students" he said with a smile and walking to the podium.
"Hello" everyone replied nervously and carefully watching his smile fade into a straight face.
"As you all much blood has loss and the population has decrease, the ministry has decided to make a law that can re-populate that loss."
"Get to the point!" somebody shouted and the room went silent that dropped if coin can be heard.
"A new has law been passed wizards and witches at the age of 18 to 24 have to get married to their soulmate and have at least a child after 1 and a half years" he finished.
At that the room was erupted to chaos and students started to shout.
"THAT'S NOT FAIR!" Ron shouted.
Ginny walk towards harry and started.
"What if their engage!?" she shouted.
Shaklebolt look towards Ginny and smiled.
"Even so, you will be paired to soulmate and be done." he said.
Everyone still shouting and of course what I'm doing bowing my head and thinking can my life be any messier than this.
" SILENCE!!" the professor shouted and students went silent.
"You will be arranged to your soulmates wither you like or not, if not you will be oblivated and your magic will be stripped and wands broken, UNDERSTOOD!?" She yelled.
"Yes Headmistress" everyone replied.
At that the sorting begin.
