What Remains ~ RWBY

Author's Note

Holy shit we made it. Who woulda thought? Now I know most people don't really stick around for these things, but I have a few things I wanna say regardless to all the amazing people who took the time to read.
I know this story hasn't been perfect, and I know that in every chapter its abundantly clear that I had no plan, no goal. But here we are, 12 chapters, 24 000 words and over 2k views later. I may not be able to say that this story is one I'm proud of, but somewhere along the way I became oddly attached to it. So I just wanted to say thank you, for riding it out with me. Writing this has just made me love these characters even more, and I've found myself so infatuated with the possibility of their happily ever after, that I don't want to stop here.
At the time of writing this, a new story is underway, this time belonging to Blake and Yang (with a good helping of rose garden too of course). It'll be set in the same au as this one and will serve as a sequel. So to any bumblebee lovers out there, stay tuned.
As well as the bees, I want to write stories for all the characters from this show, and give them all a chance to shine. I digress, but i believe that one of RWBY's many flaws is the overcrowding of its cast, which leads to all my favourite characters being robbed of the screen time and development they deserve. So I'm making my own stories for them, and I'm so incredibly happy that other people are enjoying them.
Say thank you for coming along on the roller coaster with me, I could never have imagined going into this how much I'd come to love the process. I'm beyond grateful for all the support, and I hope you'll be back for round 2 :)
