The next morning.

As Anna was combing her hair into a low braid, Lily enters the bathroom. The ginger leans against the door, crossing her arms to watch the fair witch. "How are you fairing sweet princess." Lily teases

Anna groans. "That's not catching on is it." Anna asks with a small laugh.

"Don't worry, it's a cute nickname but I don't think anyone will be using it after the Crouch incident, he kind've ruined it." Lily says with a hum.

"Yeah he kind've did."

"What class do you have today." Lily asks, watching as Anna squints in thought. "Uhh I think transfiguration, I'm still trying to get use to the schedule." Anna says, finally tying her hair off.

"Actually I think you have Ancient Runes." Mary announces from the room, she had the same class as Anna.

Lily chuckles, as does Anna. "See still getting use to it." Anna says "you'll get a hang of it." Lily says

"Hopefully, I rather not have to constantly pull out my timetable." Anna says

Lily smiles.

....

Ancient Runes.

Anna was sketching a rune with Mary right besides her.

"Ooh that's pretty." Anna says, peering at Mary's paper. Mary smiles, "thanks, I love drawing." Mary says "how come your not in art class then." Anna ask

"Oh no, those classes kind've ruin it for me." Mary says "that's true, I mean why turn a passion into work." Anna says

"What about you, do you have a passion." Mary ask "I do, a couple. I love drawing, dancing and music." Anna says

"You really have it all down, but you have art and dance in your schedule." Mary says "I like the work, I wouldn't be able to dance so well without the classes and I like to push myself." Anna says

"Your competitive." Mary says "oh yes, my ex and I made it a game." Anna says

It hurt Anna to refer Tom as an ex but she couldn't call him anything else.

"Your ex? How is he or she like." Mary ask "he was amazing, he's the one who got me so interested in music, he taught me how to play the piano." Anna says

"That's so cute." Mary gushes

Anna smiles.

....

Flashback. Third year.

Tom guides Anna's hand over the keys, pressing at a certain key, making a shrill noise.

Anna huffs in annoyance. She doesn't like being bad at things. Tom chuckles, finding her frustration adorable.

Over the summer, Tom really grew into his body, his jaw sharpening, his eyes narrowing and his hair darkening. He was beautiful, stunning even.

The girls grew more interested in the broody teen, but it wasn't just his handsome looks that drew them in, it was his intelligence.

But the same could be said for Anna, she also flourished into her girlhood. Her eyes widened more and she filled her curves, her cheeks reddening further. The babyfat slimmed out. She was a perfect mixture of her parents, as was Tom.

"Patience's Belle, you'll get it." Tom says with a fond hum.

Anna turns her head to stare at Tom, her face looked unimpressed. "Your not teaching me anything Tom, I'm just pressing one bloody key at the time." Anna says

Tom smirks in amusement. "I want you to get use to the keys first, you won't learn unless you memorize them by heart." Tom says, his fingers dragging softly against hers.

Anna groans, ignoring the fluttering over her stomach.

"I'm never going to bloody learn at this rate." Anna whines, letting her head fall back onto Toms shoulder, inhaling his intoxicating scent.

Tom chuckles, shaking his head, his hand tightening over Anna's. Anna sighs and she pulls her head off from Toms shoulder, peering up at him, before looking down at their intertwined hands.

"Since when have you started wearing so many rings." Anna ask, twisting her hand out from underneath Toms, trailing her finger on one of the silver bands.

Tom smirks, his green eyes carefully watching her. "What? Don't you like them." Tom purrs into Anna's ear, his lips brushing against her flushed skin, sending shivers down her spine.

Anna's breath hitches.

Toms other hand moves to rest on her hip, pressing her further into his side. His fingers slowly spread, gripping tightly at her flesh.

Tom twists his other hand under Anna's and he intertwines their fingers, brings her hand up to his lips, softly kissing the back. He raises his gaze and meets Anna's, smirking at her flushed expression. Enjoying his effect on her.

"Tell me Belle, do you like my rings." Tom whispers, kissing further up, his lips moving from her wrist and up her arm, slowing on her shoulder.

Anna swallows harshly, bringing her other hand up and cupping his cheek, making him pause.

"Yes." Tom breaths, leaning a minuscule closer, his body igniting at her touch.

Anna pulls him into her and she kisses him firmly on the lips. Tom smiles, moving his hands up and he cups her face, pressing closer, his body towering over hers.

.....

Present.

"What happened to him." Mary ask "he died." Anna says softly, her voice almost a whisper. It still hurt to think about. "Oh I'm so sorry Anna, that's horrible." Mary says, pressing her hand against Anna's.

Anna smiles. "It's fine, it doesn't hurt as much as it used to." Anna says

"Is he why your not dating." Mary ask "yeah, I just can't date anyone after him. He was my first love, I just need time to move on from that type of pain." Anna says

"I hope it gets better." Mary says

"I know it will, I'm only seventeen, it won't always feel this way." Anna says, even though it felt like it would last forever.
