A week later.

Anna softly ran her fingers along the keys of the piano. Her eyes closed as she sung along, mimicking the soft melody. Her voice carried through the manor.

Suddenly her fingers halt, she lifts her head to look up at her cleaning mother. The older woman, was on her knees assaulting the chimney with a duster.

"I want to go back to school." Anna says

Queenie freezes and she turns to her daughter. "What." Queenie says, softly, her heart speeding up. She drops the duster and straightens up, grey hair filled with soot.

"Father took me before I can finish my sixth year, I'd like to redo the year and pick up where I left off." Anna says, her fingers now trailing the keys, her eyes back onto the piano.

"I don't think that's safe darling." Queenie says "I don't give a damn, not anymore. I'm done trying to make my parents feel better, I've lost 34 bloody years of my life." Anna says, her eyes snapping up with a fierce glare.

Knowing she had no argument, she doesn't scold nor reprimand her. "You'll have guards following you, people will stare." Queenie says, relaxing onto her knees.

Anna shakes her head with a soft scoff. "I don't care, I want to complete my years at Hogwarts and become a legal witch. And if I have to prove to them that I am good then I will. I don't want to be stuck here." Anna says, motioning towards the manor.

"Okay sweetheart, I'll see what I can do." Queenie says with a resigned sigh.

....

Anna was seated at the dinning table, with her feet curled underneath herself as she idly played with her food. The fork softly scrapped against the white porcelain.

Anna looks up when she hears someone clear their throat. Before her was a boy around her age, he was shuffling awkwardly, playing with his fingers.

"Is the food not good...Miss Grindelwald." The boy asks, nervously. His young face staring down at her. Anna wondered why a boy like him was working for her mother.

Anna shakes her head. "No it's good, I'm just not hungry." Anna says softly. The teen was obviously scared to be in her presence.

"Would you like the chefs to cook you something different." The teen ask "no thank you, you can go." Anna says

The boy swallows nervously before placing something besides her. Anna looks down and she spots a pumpkin pastry.

Anna smiles softly. Her favorite.
