Madrid, Spain.

Close your and eyes and imagine a safe place.

A place where you can be by yourself, somewhere calm and serene where you are able to think not fearing anyone would interrupt. Some place where you don't have to match anyone's expectations and pretend to be someone you're not.

Chances are you imagine your room, the beach, the tree house in your backyard or the library. If it's any of the above consider yourself lucky.

When i close my eyes and try to think of such a place, i see nothing. Complete darkness.

All throughout my childhood i have been followed, i have never been alone. There was always a shadow behind me. Hundreds of bodyguards who had never left my side. Some of them were walking behind, some pretending to be my teachers, my friends and occasionally even some unknown family members appeared.

You can imagine the amount of happiness i feel right now. Alone for the first time in my twenty two years of life.

Last time I saw my mother was two months ago. The way I left her house was anything but pleasant and any sane person would have felt guilty on my behalf, however I don't regret a thing. She deserved every single word I had said to her and she knows it. After all she had been jeopardizing me for the past twenty two years nonstop.

For the first time in my life I do something for myself and it feels right.

The first thing on my long list of things i had always wanted to do but never had the guts for is traveling. I have always pictured traveling as something magical, only me and the unknown city i visit waiting to be explored. Independence is a virtue that not everyone get. Always being told what to eat, how to talk ,with whom to speak doesn't exactly leave many options.

I have visited many places around the world since I left the house: Philippines, Italy, Austria, Finland, Spain. And i certainly don't intend to stop there.

Spain so far had been amazing, so hectic yet comforting. Many different smells, loud and friendly people and don't even get me started on the amount of mouthwatering dishes here. Unfortunately, my trip is very organized. I have only a few days for each city in order to visit as many places as possible. As a result of my strict schedule i'll have to leave soon, that's why I decided to make my last night in Spain memorable.

I exited my car and entered a store with beautiful dresses displayed by the window. Today my friend Violet, whom I had met at the gym ,two days ago might I add, had invited me to a party at her mansion.

Two months ago if you would have stopped me on the street and told me i'm going to attend some strangers party in Spain i would have sent you to a mental institute. As a matter of a fact if any person would have so much as touched me on the street my bodyguards would have most likely sent him to some intensive care unit as far away from me as possible.

Now on the other hand any person can touch me without being afraid of severe injuries. Not that it's a very comforting thing for me to point out. The only thing I have to prepare for tonight is a killer dress which will match the social requirements and won't make me look like a fool.

After a lot of dresses which were mercilessly thrown to the floor because they were either too conservative or shouldn't have been called dresses but skirts i discovered a beautiful red dress with an open back which was tight around my ass and reached mid thigh, it accented my curves and showed off my legs. There was very little cleavage seen but enough to fire up the imagination.

A long shower at the Plaza hotel and a small amount of makeup later i decided i look rather presentable and I felt good checking myself out in the mirror. I have long brown wavy hair which falls past my waistline and big green eyes.
