"hope you feel better." it read. I kept wondering who sent it, them my dumb brain remembered I was with Aadil when I fainted.

At that moment I wanted the ground to split into two and just swallow me. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life.

" thank you, I was just a bit under the weather but I'm fine, thanks for asking though". I finally replied after typing and clearing for a long time. Talk about awkward.

"Let me call kaia and hear what's up" I said walking into the closet.

"kaiaaa!" I shouted into my phone after she picked up. "Ya gari" she said shifting to sit down. We were on a video call.

"how are you feeling", she asked trying to stifle her laughter but failed. "I heard Aunty Rukayyah telling mama Wai you fainted in Ya Aadil's car.

" please don't tell me it's because he asked you for your phone number you fainted", she added laughing loudly.

"just kill me, what was I supposed to do", I said eyeing her. "how do you even know he asked for my phone number" I sat on the bean bag in my closet.

"he obviously asked me for advice before asking you girl, have you forgotten you're my best friend or what", she said.

"talking about best friends have you heard from jannah", I said curiously. "last time we talked she was saying something about them moving to London" I added.

"Really? and she didn't tell me anything fah", she said putting grapes into her mouth.

"we'll just go to her house after school tomorrow, I don't think she's coming to school". I said and she agreed. We said our goodbyes then I moved on to pick out clothes for tomorrow.

"Sabr! Sabr! If you don't wake up this instant I'm going to send sabir up to your room to pour another bucket of water on you" . Mami shouted from downstairs.

Urgh! What a great way to start the day. I said under my breath. I turned to where my phone was to check the time.

I immediately got up seeing the time. It was twelve and I had a lecture at twelve thirty. "Ni Sabreena jikar Nabaari", I said running into the toilet. Thank God I brought my clothes out yesterday. I added.

I hurriedly rubbed my lotion which I bought from Aljism and put on my peach Abaya with black and white rhinestones. Grabbed my Dior purse, car keys and Fendi slides.

I closed my door and went downstairs to the kitchen to eat.

"if  you don't wake up in the afternoon who will", sabir said stuffing his mouth with samosa.

"Good afternoon daddy and Mami, I'm in a rush so I'll see you guys in the evening, I'll be going jannah's house to help her with packing.

" afternoon sabr, why do you like waking up late ne? ", daddy asked adjusting his glasses then looked at me.

" I was very tired last night ne and I was having a headache after subh".

"okay I hope you feel better", he said. "yes I do".

" alright, but don't be late and greet her mother for me, I'm going to come visit her before they leave". Mamita said before she turned to continue the conversation she was having with daddy before I interrupted.

I rushed to my Mercedes glk and hopped in.
I checked the time again and realized I might not be allowed into the lecture hall because I was very late as it was 12:45 and my school was a 15 min drive without speed so Imma have to break some rules today.

I was already at the school gate when I noticed an incoming call from kaia.
"dude you're super duper late" was the first thing she said when I picked.

"yeah I know that, I'm already at the gate so chill and wait for me".

"Alright Hurry the lecturer is even yet to arrive" she said speaking loudly, probably because of the noise from the class.

Urghhhhh! I hissed loudly because I couldn't find a spot to park. "why does this keep happening to me". I thought.

I finally found a spot to park after five agonizing minutes of searching.

I sped up and didn't realize there was a puddle in front of me, I zoomed past it and splashed it on a guy who was walking to his car I think.

I parked the car, got my things then came down to apologize to the guy.

"I'm really sorry, I was in a hurry to go to my class because I am very late", I said not knowing when the guy looked up and the look he was giving me made me realize I was rambling.

"no problem" he said and just walked away. "well that was eventful and to think I've met the guy before.

Realization dawned upon me while I reached the hall for my lecture, he is the same mysterious guy who sent those gifts to me.

" Keh" I heard from the back seat when walked in. It's only kaia that's stupid enough to shout like that. So I walked towards her and sat down.

"So you don't know what just happened to me at the parking lot". I said looking at her.

"what happened". So I bumped into mysterious guy once again, no actually I splashed water on him in the parking lot and surprisingly he wasn't grumpy or angry about it. I said.

When I turned she was already smiling like a Cheshire cat. Immediately I knew what was coming.

"don't even start" I said and got saved by our lecturer entering the hall.

"sorry I'm late class, I have a special guest to introduce to you all, he's going to talk about self employment and entrepreneurship".

Please welcome Mr. Aman Hammad Sultan.

Lo and behold it was mysterious guy with new clothes.

Immediately he came in our eyes met.

I know I messed up big time by not updating for like a month but I've been busy with my exams and stuff but when I finish I'm going to be giving you guys back to back. 💕

So anyways, what do y'all think about mysterious guy and him following her whereabouts it's actually fishy if you ask me, but let's not dwell on that.
