Chapter 1

Sabreen sighed for the nth time, her mom has called her for more than 50 times in the morning just to remind her of a wedding she didn't want to attend. She has been showing her mother signs of her not wanting to go but her adamant mother won't let her be. Dragging her feet into her room Sabreen checked her closet for something appropriate for the wedding because as her mother told her, she can't wear her plain black abaya's. "Oh God!", Sabreen sighed
"do I really have to go" she thought picking up her phone to call her friend.
"Let me just call jannah and let her know that we're going together cause I'm not going alone".
"Keh!" jannah said after answering sabreen's call, "why are you disturbing me this peaceful afternoon?", "can you please escort me to aunt zee's wedding?" Sabreen said softly because after being her friend for 6 years Sabreen knew she couldn't ever force her to do anything so she resort to begging her. "knowing how much you hate that woman I'm surprised you want to go to her wedding" jannah said. "you know I'm just going for mamita's sake, before her and her sisters will go to baba and start spewing nonsense" she sighed sitting on her bed. "anyways I'll be at your house in fifteen". Jannah said. "thanks babe I really appreciate".

Sabreen sighed looking at her huge closet,being the indecisive human she is, she decided to wait for jannah to arrive.
Sabreen is the epitome of beauty, having her father's chocolate skin, short with a curvy body and her mother's long black curly hair. In short she's every guys dream, but unfortunately Sabreen is the type of person who doesn't give a damn about guys apart her brother's. Her family is a family of six having two brothers and a sister with her parents.
While sabreen was waiting for her bestie, she decided to go and beg her twin older brother's to take her to the wedding.
Knowing how strongheaded her brothers were she went to the fridge to get their favorite ice creams to bribe them.
Being 27 years old, it still amazes her how her brothers love ice cream so much.
"as salamu Alaikum" she said, barging into her brother's side. "who is the mad person shouting like that? " exclaimed her moody brother. "hello, it's me, I've been wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet?" sabreen sang which was seeming to anger her moody brother more, who is the older twin named sabir, which is quite the opposite of his name. "Haba bro just leave her", sagir said whom is the calm one among them. "she is just being her normal annoying self".
"sabreen just tell us what you want to and leave, I don't have the time to deal with you". Sabir said just seeing the ice cream in her hands.
"Ya sabir I just want you to take me to aunt zee's wedding, mamita is forcing me to go". She said.
"alright I'll take you but you should get ready in 20 minutes because Im going out now to meet baba at the construction site". Sabir said.
"thanks bro, you're the sweetest person on earth, here's your ice cream's, I'll meet you downstairs in twenty". She said running off to her room.
On her way to her room she sighted one of her mothers nosy friends about to go into the house so she changed her way and followed the back of the house.
Sabreen exhaled, finally getting to her room without her mother's friend seeing her.
Reaching her room, she saw jannah sitting on her bed with an angry face.
"I've been here for the past hour waiting for you", Jannah exaggerated.
"habaaa Jannah I just left my room like 5 minutes ago fah to ask Ya Sagir if he can take us to the venue because Shamsu is not at home". She said giving her friend the stink eye.
"okay let's just forget about that now, let's hurry and get ready so we'll reach there early", Jannah said.
Sabreen picked up her makeup kit from her closet. Being the makeup freak she is, she made her mom buy a whole box full of make up items for her.
"Start doing mine first before yours, so we'll fast" Jannah said pulling on her blouse's hand while walking to the dresser.
"finally, Haba we've been at this thing for 10 minutes and you've not even started yours".
"you know I only need 5 mins to do mine and we're good to go". She said while contouring her nose. "done, let's get downstairs before the moody monster starts shouting", the laughed walking downstairs.
"Wallahi, the both of you should be lucky I had to get somethings from baba's room, I would've left you here",Ya Sagir said.
"we're here now so let's go", sabreen said getting excited for no reason, its a wonder how someone who didn't want to go be soo excited as this. Her friend thought.
Sometimes, when you know you look good, you feel good.
"Brand new Lamborghini f*ck a cop car, with a pistol on my head like I'm a cop", sabreen belted out in her horrible voice. "please don't break my windscreen with your awful voice", Ya Sagir said while covering his ear. Jannah snorted and sabreen gave her the stink eye.
"you guys should even be lucky I gracing you with my beautiful voice, many people want to hear it but they don't get to", sabreen exclaimed, pouting.
"at the rate you're going my engine might spoil sef", Ya Sagir said laughing.
Jannah obviously loving this show, started recording while laughing silently.
*please don't give up on me yet, I'm coming back for what lost", she continued without having a care in this world.
"Wallahi sabreen I will soon throw you out of my car if you don't keep quiet",he said.
Sabreen hissed silently then started using her phone.
Reaching the venue, sabreen jumped out of the car hastily as if it had been biting her.
"Yaya please come and pick us up early or send Shamsu if he's back". Sabreen begged.
"I'll see if I can", he said nonchalantly.
"Bye loser" she said waving. He didn't even answer not to talk of waving back.

Entering the gate Sabreen gasped sighting him.
