One day in biochemistry, they were instructed to choose partners. Between the friends group, Kimmon and Copter, Tae was left out so the two could work together.
It's not like Tae wouldnt get any girls in his class to be his partner but he didnt bother joining any of them. At the end of all that, the only one left was Tee Jaruji.
Tae did not like the idea of being partnered with Tee. Tae never disliked Tee but it's just that... he thought Tee was odd.
Of course Tae felt bad that no one ran to be Tee's partner right away but he knew he definitely didn't want to be in the awkward situation with someone he didn't know so what did Tae do?
He left the class.
Tae tried to be discreet about it, saying that there was a sudden family emergency. He had never been good with confrontation or socializing with someone new, especially with his resting bitch face. The tension and awkwardness is what drove him away.
Oh, those damn suits.
And fuck those bow ties.
.....
It was before class; Kimmon, Copter and Tae were sitting in the back of English, laughing and talking with each other.
"You'll be at the party on Friday, right?" Kimmon asked, leaning on the table as he looked at Tae who nodded.
"Of course. You always know I'm there,"
"I know," Kimmon said as he fiddled with the pencil on the table. He looked around the room before sitting up, smile on his face.
"I wonder if our business man over there would be up to a party," Kimmon said, eyes flickering between the boy in the suit across the room and Tae.
Furrowing his eyebrows, Tae looked over to whom Kimmon was referring to.
"Who? Tee Jaruji?"
Copter widening his eyes, "Shhh! Don't be so damn loud," he warned, eyes on Tee. He was thankful that Tee didn't pick up on his name.
Tae shook his head, "Him at a party? Seems a bit odd, don't you think?" he questioned, watching as Kimmon shrugged.
"I feel bad for him. I don't think he gets invited to too many places. Maybe I should ask him," Kimmon was ready to get up from his stool before Tae grabed his arm, yanking him back down.
"This is the last thing we need, actually. I don't think it's really his scene," Tae told Kimmon, raising his eyebrows at him.
Even if Tee did decide to come to the party, what would happen then? Tae wasn't up to babysit someone who wouldn't go near alcohol, especially as Ace 3.
"Maybe Kim is right. It wouldn't be bad to invite him. If anything, he'd be flattered at the invite," Copter pointed out supporting Kimmon, smile on his face as he watched Tee who sat two rows up, notebook open and eyebrows bent in as he looked over his notes.
Tae sighed, shrugging. "Do what you want. I just don't think it's a good idea. Either way, he isn't going to show up," he crossed his arms, watching Kimmon get up without any hesitation even after those words.
