The tray clattered against the metal overhand above the glass where Aliah set it so the lunch lady could throw the mushy potatoes and overcooked rubber like meat on.

The line of students moved slowly as the janitor that has worked there for as long as anyone could remember mopped the floor where the jocks squeezed a can of soda, ending with an explosion of sugar all over the floor.

Aliah grabbed her tray thanking the lunch lady as she walked to her table where Lennon and Christiaan sat every single day. "Lennon do you have anything I can snack on? I don't want to eat this garbage." Aliah grimaced as she pushed the tray away from her towards the middle of the circled table.

Lennon nodded her head with a laugh as she pulled out carrots and dip and slid them across to her friend.

Christiaan sat silently next to Lennon as he was flipping through papers for their Psychology Honors exam, not bothering to touch his mush of food. "Christiaan stop looking at those papers and just eat and try to relax. You'll just end up stressing yourself." Comforted Lennon as she started to rub his back as he put his hands over his face and rubbed his eyes.

The carrots were once again slid over the table to Christiaan, he looked up to Aliah than took a carrot and reached over for the dip that was still by her; taking a bite out of the thing that reminded him of baby food.

As Aliah and Lennon began talking about their plans the next day as it was Tuesday, the three of them always go to the mall or the park or even the movies. Tuesday is their day to do whatever they want to cleanse themselves from the week full of school and work and an overall abundant amount of stress. As Lennon began explaining what movies she had wanted to see with them as Aliah pulled up the times they played on her phone, Christiaan laid his head against Lennon's shoulder.

That action cause Lennon to gently start playing with his hair, something he loved ever so much.

"Remember students, please pick up your trash and throw it away." Said one of the staff members who stayed in the lunch room to watch over all of the students.

Aliah offered to take everyone's trash and trays, and the small girl walked away. Christiaan made a loud sigh as he closed his eyes, "How are you feeling bubs?" Lennon questioned as her hand dropped from his hair to his back as she made scratches up and down from side to side and now in circles.

The tired boy sat up and put his papers back in his green folder in which he put back into his bag, securely zipping it.

He laid his head in his hands against the table and sniffled, "Stressed."

Lennon gave him a sympathetic smile as Aliah returned. "Guess who just came up to me?" She gasped to Lennon. "Let me guess, Jamey?" She replied with a slide smirk. Aliah has had a crush on Jamey Peterson since the 7th grade and he has yet to notice. It's not like she's all he talks about and the teacher has totally never caught her doodling stick figures holding hands with his and her name under it. Aliah would be crazy to find out exactly what period he is in at each hour and "accidentally" bump into him in the halls to make sure he sees that she looks pretty in her blue blouse with white polka dots. It's just a normal crush.

Aliah nodded vigorously with a smile that spread ear to ear. "What did he say?" She was about to reply however Aliah paused for a second, her emotion dropping like a rollercoaster, and seconds later it came back as she continued. "He said he likes my outfit."

The sound of her giggles traveled through the teens table as she turned her head to the right to look over her shoulder at the beauty of Jamey.

Christiaan scoffed as he rolled his eyes, "You're obsessed."
