CH1- Where It Starts

Summers P.O.V

It was just another day in Time Square, New York. I was on my way to a job interview before my class started. My best friend Rosie was at an aduation. She's an inspiring singer.
We just moved to New York.
I was waiting on my interview when a friend of mine called me.
"Hey, Peter. How are you?"
"Hey, Summer. I'm good how are you?"
"I'm okay, at a job interview."
"Oh my, still can't get a job?"
"No, I don't know why."
"It's New York, that's why. Have you thought about acting again?"
"Eh, kind of. But I'm so close to getting my degree."
"I know, animals are your love. But don't rule out other possibilities."
"Thanks, Peter."
"Of course, so I was invited to a party. Big names will be there. Actors, singers, and producers. Would you like to come with me?"
"Wow that's cool, of course I'll come."
"Nice, do you think your friend would want to come too? My friend was invited too. But he needs a date."
"I'll ask her and let you know."
"Sounds great! I'll send you all the info, dress great, these kind of parties you never know who you will meet."
"That's not a problem." I hanged up the phone and a guy walked over."
"Hello, Ms Rena?"
"Hello,"
"So you want to be a dog trainer?" The man asked. As he asked me other questions and showed me around.
As time went on, I still didn't know if I got the job or not. I went to class. That's when Rosie called me.
"Yo! S I got the job!! I'm going to be a singer!! I got the record deal!"
"Girl that's amazing!!"
"We have to celebrate tonight!"
"Yes, we do. Hey my friend wanted to know if you be his friends date to a party. Big names will be there."
"Yeah sure, sounds fun! Oh my gosh girl. I'm going to be famous."
We laughed and got off the phone. I ended up going to class.
That night Rosie and I went out in the town. We were goofing off and going bar hoping.
When all of sudden Rosie stopped in her tracks.
"Oh my gosh that's Thomas Doherty!" Rosie yelled.
I just stood there, it sure was. Unfortunately Thomas heard us. Being loud and obnoxious.
"Yo, you're hot" Rosie walked over to Thomas and touched his shoulder.
I didn't want to walk over, I was drunk but not that drunk. I felt weird coming up to him.
"Well thank you." Thomas said as he smiled.
"I totally love you." Rosie got closer.
"Okay R, let's go." I said as I walked over.
"No, I'm staying." Rosie yelled.
"Well hello, who are you?" Thomas asked as he smiled and moved closer to me.
"That's Summer, she's my bestie! Oh hey I know that guy." Rosie walked over to her friend she knows.
"I'm Thomas"
"Is bad if I say I know and I'm a huge fan." I smiled.
"Not at all, would you like to get out of this place?" Thomas asked.
Should I? Rosie will kill be. She has a crush on Thomas Doherty. But he was standing right in front of me.
"Okay." I said as we walked out of the bar.

ROSIE

Moving to New York with my best friend Summer was the best choice we ever made. I worked my ass off and finally got a record deal. Years and years of playing in small clubs, bowling allies, birthday parties and even weddings finally paid off so I called Summer and told her the good news and we decided to go out on the town and celebrate and what happened at the bad that night I never thought would happen.

I ended up spotting Thomas Doherty and of course I had approach him and flirt with him until I saw my friend Kristin.

"Hey girl what are you doing here?"

"Oh hey I'm actually opening a store here"

"That's amazing girl I am so happy for you"

I knew my friend Kristin owned her own company and had stores in a couple other states but I was super excited she was opening one here in the city

After Kristin and I got done talking I went to look for Summer and I realized she was no where to be found i wondered where she went I tried calling her but there was no answer.

* hey S I'm leaving the bar and I tried looking for you but I can't find you anywhere and you aren't picking up so I guess I'll just see you at home*
