Our Secret (verkwan)

Part 1

Vernon woke up on the sound of his alarm going off "what time is it" the american said as he look at the time "7:30?! Shit i got to hurry" the boy said as he quickly got of his bed almost tripping and ran to the bathroom "Vernon you're gonna be late on your first day" "okay mom Im coming" the boy said. he wore his uniform and came down the stairs quickly taking his toast and giving his mom a kiss on her forehead before heading out.

"I hope I don't get scolded on my first day". It was his first day at his new school and he was a senior. He and his parent just moved to Korea since his dad decided to move here. He wasn't happy about moving here so he and his dad had a fight. They weren't on good terms with each other but he didn't really care since his dad hurt him a lot. He always intervened in his life and he even broke his friendship with his bestfriend. "Shit im so nervous" the boy said as he entered the gates". The school was big. Really big. He quickly remembered he was late and rushed to his class.

As he opened the door everyone's eyes were on him "Everyone we have another new student here. Please introduce yourself" he learned korean when he was young so he thought it wasn't that hard for him to understand others and communicate "Hi Im Vernon". "Take a seat Vernon and don't be late again". There were some girls squealing but he ignored them. His eyes fell on a student he seemed foreign too and decided to set beside him since the seat nest to him wasn't taken.
"Hi"
"oh hey"
"Im Joshua but you can call me jisoo"
the foreign said
"okay Jisoo"
"so where you from"
"Im from New York, you?"
"Im from LA, listen i know you're new here so come join me and my friends at lunch and let me introduce you to them, they're cool" Vernon thought it was gonna be hard to make friends here but it wasn't. He decided to a agree to Jisoo's idea since he thought the guy was cool
"okay, I don't mind"
"That's great let's meet later at the cafeteria"
"okay"
Vernon said and decided to focus on what his teacher was saying until the bell rang and he thought finally since it was physics and it was two hours ( i hate this subject so much lol).

He packed his things and went to the cafeteria to have his lunch and then remembered the jisoo guy he met when he saw him with his friends. He kept waving his hands to the guy's direction until the guy saw him and gestured for him to come. He went to thier table

(Vernon's POV)
"hey, Jisoo told us about meeting you, Vernon right?" a guy who looks like an angel said "yes hi" i said
"oh I forgot to introduce myself, Im Jeonghan and nice to meet you"
"nice to meet you too, Im Vernon" I said as I smiled at him but my smile faded as I looked at the guy beside him who looked at me like he wanted to punch me "oh, thats my boyfriend Seungcheol but he goes by scoups" the guy said as I realised why this Scoups guy was looking at me like that "Hi Scoups" "hey" the guy replied coldly as I sat down between Jisoo and Jeonghan
"Im sorry he acts like that with people he doesn't know but he's really sweet when you get to know him"
he whispered to me as I nodded. I thought they were only three guys in this group of friends but I was wrong. As Vernon was eating his lunch he saw another guy coming towards our table.
"Hey babe" Jisoo said as he gestured for the guy to set down and then put his head on his shoulder
"this is vernon he's new here"
"Hi"
"Hey Vernon, Im seokmin, you look foreign, where are you from?"
"America" vernon said as he smiled at the guy and the guy smiled back at him. This guy was sweet unlike the scoups guy he thought. The bell rang. "Hey I have class I got to go"
"wait can we exchange numbers?"
"sure why not" Jisoo gave Vernon his phone as Vernon typed his number and gave the phone back to the guy
"bye then"
"bye"

Vernon got back home. His father was at work and he didn't know where his mom was but he didn't really care since it was always like this. He decided to take a nap. Two hours later he woke up on the sound of his phone ringing: V>"hello?"
J>"hey Vernon its me Jisoo from school remember?"
V>"Oh yeah hey Jisoo"
J>"I was just wondering wanna hang out a bit, I mean Im bored and I thought why don't we get to know eachother a little bit and get closer since were both americans and you seem cool, you know what I mean?"
V>"yeah dude honestly Im bored too but where are we hanging out?" J>"How about your house?"
V>"okay i'll send you the location."
J>"okay see ya".

15 mins later~

The door bell rang.
"Hey, you're not that far from me we should really hang out often"
"yeah didn't take you that long, come on in."
