More than friends... (Jack Gilinsky)

Chapter one

I woke up to the sun light beaming into my room. It was a Saturday and there was nothing to do but video. I had decided today's video would be a morning skin care routine because that's what I do every morning. I was currently in my house which was located in North Carolina meaning I was only 6 blocks away from my family home.
I set up the camera and went back into my black and white bed. I pressed the record button and filmed myself getting out of bed, slipping on the hello kitty slippers, making some tea which I must say was delicious. Then I started videoing myself putting all the different types of skin care products on. After what felt like hours, I had finally finished my video and was getting dressed because I had my plan set out. My plan was to go over to my family house, spend sometime with them, hung out with my friends because I am leaving North Carolina to go to Westside in Omaha. The reason I was moving to Westside is because I was expelled and the reason for that was because I sent a girl to the hospital. Let me just tell you... DO NOT TOUCH ME! I was also moving because Sammy Wilkinson lives there and we have been best friends since kindergarten. I am looking forward to Omaha because I want to get away from all these problems that I have. Don't get me wrong I love my family, but it's just school life.
I walked to my dressing room and choose a black and white striped t-shirt with a bright red blazer which I found cute. I wore my black leggings and my bright red vans. Another fact about me, I LOVE VANS. I got dressed and brushed my hair since I had a shower yesterday. I applied my simple make up which consisted eyeliner, mascara and skin tone lipstick. I wasn't going to impress anyone so why all the stress. I cleaned my house and when I finally decided I was ready to go, I called my mum to tell her I was coming over. Me and my mum have a strong connection, she's like that parent you can tell anything. It's the same with my dad but I kind of keep some stuff away from him, I mean lady stuff. Nash and me have a strong connection although we fight, but isn't that what brothers are for? The same with Hayes, but when it comes down to Skylynn, oh sweet Skylynn. She's so cute and I absolutely love her, she may be my half sister but I feel like she's my real sister. It's werid though, because I'm 18, Will is 19 but I barley see him, Nash is 17, Hayes is 14 and Skylynn is 5 years old which means I'm the second oldest in the house and the fact that Will is at College when my parents are away means I'm in charge. Yes!
I walked out of the house and walked over to my Ferrari. I walked in and turned the engine on. I mean I could walk but I was so tired. Good thing I finished packing because I only have a week left. I parked my car and walked over to the door with my black clutch in my left hand and my iPhone 6 in my right. I knocked on the door and after 3 seconds I hear the door unlock. I was greeted by my aunt which was odd. Then it just hit me, it's my family reunion day which means all my family gets together. I hugged her and kissed her cheek.
"Suzie, your home!" I hear mum say. I walk in, wipe my shoes on the door carpet and remove them. I ran over to mum and gave her a tight hug and kiss her cheek.
"I love you mum..." I mumbled into her chest.
"Me too..." I don't know why I want to get away from them. I guess it's school problems, oh well. I walked into the huge living room to find a swarm of humans, mostly with blue eyes coming towards me. I just loved the way they missed me. After a year of hugging and greeting I finally sat down. I realised that dad wasn't here. No surprise... My mum and dad got divorced when I was 12 years old which meant I understood what was happening at that age and I felt shattered when I heard the news. My real dad, Chad Grier has a wife named Nila and she's a photographer and model. I guess she's sweet and my step dad is Johnnie, Skylynn dad and he's cool. So now you know my life is a mess and full of unfortunate events.
After lunch and laughter I decided I would spend quality time with my siblings. I walked over to Skylynn's room and politely knocked on the door.
"Princess may I come in?" I smiled to myself.
"Of course Suzie queen!" She said leading me to her pink room which had a swing in it. Pretty cool, huh?
"Right, we need you to pack your clothes because your coming home with me." I smiled and she started to jumping around with excitement. I just giggled. I have 3 bedrooms in my house, one for Skylynn because she came over a lot and another for Hayes or Nash because they would come every now and then. I walked over to her gigantic walk in wardrobe and walked over to the Disney Princess' suitcase. I unzipped it and choose a few cute outfits. I folded them up and neatly placed them in my suitcase.
"Skylynn wait here I've got a surprise!" I said while walking to the door. She started to smile. I ran to my old room and crawled under my bed. I took out a box with horse pictures on it. I sighed at the memory and walked down the hallway back to Skylynn's room. I walked in and placed the box in front of her.
"Here this is for you..." I said and walked over to the colouring pencils were I started to draw on a scrap of paper. I jumped when I heard her scream with joy. I turned around to see she picked up my old horse riding uniform and the barbie doll riding on a horse doll which was still in its box.
"Skylynn we will be going horse riding tomorrow and then we could go to the Disney Store or American doll and buy anything you want. Deal?" She grinned.
"Deal!" I shook her hand in a mannerly way and carried on packing her cute stuff.
I finished packing her things and told her to go and play with our cousins while I hang around with Hayes. I walk downstairs and see him on the sofa with our cousin Lily. Don't worry they go to the same school and are best friends and there's no way I'm letting them hook up. I am kind of responsible for my brothers and sisters other than my mum. I walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. He hugged me and I kissed his cheek. I can't believe it's been about 4 hours and he still hasn't seen me.
"When did you come?" He asked.
"4 hours ago Hayes, keep up to date. No wonder you forgot it was my birthday last year!" I laughed and he blushed.
"Sooo..." Lily said.
"Do you want to hang out?" I asked shrugging.
"Hell yeah!" Lily said. Hayes just nodded. I loved Lily, she's so cool and she acted like a boy which I found cool because I mean girls can play soccer, basketball and football. Right? We walked up the stairs over to Hayes' room because he had some cool stuff.
"Pass me your phones..." I said putting my hands in front of me. They looked at each over confused.
"Why?" Hayes said.
"Because it's quality time with Suzie, your awesome sister!" I said flicking my hair. They just laughed and handed there phones.
"Let's start with a movie!" Lily suggested. Hayes nodded approvingly and I shrugged.
"What movie though?" Hayes asked.
"Final destination 5" I said and they nodded in agreement. We popped in the movie and just before the movie starts Nash walks in without knocking.
"Do you know how to knock?" I said and he put his hands up in surrender.
"I'm sorry..." He said.
"I'll forgive you if you get us popcorn"Hayes smirked and I laughed.
"Ok, but you have to pause the movie. Ok?" I nodded and he ran downstairs. I made myself comfortable on Hayes' sofa when mum walked in and I smiled.
"Hey mum!" I said.
"Hey, I just came to ask if Skylynn was going over to your house?" She asked.
"Yep!" I said and she smiled.
"Thank you so much Suzie your great!" She said, waving bye.
"What about me?" Hayes' said while pouting. I just rubbed his back while Lily sniggered in the back ground.
"I'm back!" Nash said. Holding 2 bowls of popcorn. Acting like an idiot and a stupid girl.
"You look and sound like a white bitch..." I said and we all burst out laughing. I took a bowl from Nash and he sat next to me. I kissed his cheek and said thank you.
"Wait! Before we start the movie, who wants to come over to my house?" I asked and they all put there hands up.
"Ok, Lily your suitcase is already here, Hayes you go and pack up with Nash..." I said. Pointing at each one of them.
"Ok, but after the movie. Please?" Nash said giving me his bright blue eyes.
"Ok, cool!" And with that we finally sat down and started watching.
