Your POV:

You slowly opened your eyes, waking up from what felt like a long, deep sleep. You began to hear the peaceful sounds of birds chirping outside the window. You nuzzled your head into your pillow, and your brows furrowed as you recognized a familiar cinnamon scent.

This took you by surprise. You rubbed your eyes and looked around the room, taking in your surroundings, as you quickly realized that you were not in your sleeping bag in Ginny's room. Your stomach filled with butterflies as you realized you were snuggled up in Ron's bed.

You buried your face in his pillow, pulling the sheets up over your shoulders. Although you were so comfortable, you had a pounding headache and were completely confused at why you were sleeping in Ron's room.

What happened to me? Why does my head hurt so bad? And where is Ron?

You closed your eyes again, your mind clouding with too many thoughts.

All of a sudden you heard a light knock on the door. You stayed quiet. The door then creaked open just enough for someone to poke their head in.

It was George.

You looked up at him and smiled. It was good to see him. It felt like you hadn't seen anyone in so long, but you weren't quite sure why.

"Hey darling, how are you feeling?" He asked you, stepping inside.

"I'm alright." You replied, pausing to think. "What exactly happened to me?"

"You took a quaffle to the head, it was a pretty rough throw too. You can thank Ginny for that one," he added, jokingly.

"Oh really? How long have I been sleeping?" You asked, feeling a bit disoriented.

"Erm, since... yesterday," he said, his eyes wandering around the room.

"Since yesterday?!" You shouted, completely shocked. "I've been knocked out for a whole day?"

"Well, almost, yes. We were going to take you to a hospital if you didn't wake up this morning, but thankfully you did!"

You didn't say anything. You just stared up at the ceiling in deep thought.

I must've gotten hit really hard. What about Ron? Where did he sleep?

"Would you like me to go get Ron for you?" He offered, somehow reading your thoughts. "He's been quite anxious since you got knocked out."

"Yes please," you said. You really wanted to see your best friend. It felt like you hadn't seen him in so long.

A few moments after George had left the room, there was a second knock at the door.

"Come in," you said.

As Ron slipped through the door, closing it behind him, a sympathetic smile came across his face.

"Aw love, I hate seeing you like this. How are you feeling?"

You could tell that it physically pained him that you had gotten hurt. He was such a caring person, and his friends were always his number one priority. So when things like this happened, he was always right there beside you.

"I'm feeling alright. George said I got knocked off my broom," you said, adjusting the covers on his bed.

"Yeah you did, you took a pretty nasty hit. I was honestly really nervous because you weren't waking up," he admitted, fidgeting with one of your bracelets that he was wearing.

"Aw thank you. I bet it was pretty boring without me," you teased.

He let out a little giggle and sat down on the bed beside you.
