"What the hell was that?" Shelby said... Only her voice was deeper than normal.

"I dunno." My voice sounded weird, too! I looked down. I looked completely different!

"Was your costume always that realistic? And what happened to your voice?"

I looked over at Shelby and I was shocked. She looked EXACTLY like Billie Joe! "I could ask you the same question!!" She looked at me weird. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of her, handing it to her afterwards. Her eyes grew wide. She took a picture of me, but I protested as she did so. "I hate pictures of myself, Shelby!! Nooo!!" I waved my arms wildly.

"Just look at the picture, dammit!"

I did and my heart stopped. I looked exactly like Tré. "What the fuck happened?!?"

We looked around. We saw many different people roaming around. Zombies, ghosts, Jason Voorheese, Yoda, Darth Vader--it was like a bad drug trip. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" The question was followed by a familiar cackle. I looked up. The witch! She grinned. "I needed two naïve people to eat the candy for my chaos to begin. Who knew that those two would be girls dressed up as Billie Joe Armstrong and Tré Cool? Certainly not me. A Batman pair, maybe, but not that."

"What the fuck did you do?!?" Shelby growled. Her cussing sounded more normal in Billie's voice.

"Simple: everyone in the world who dressed up for Halloween has become what or who they dressed up as."

"That's cliché..." I muttered.

She growled and pushed us onto the street. "Have fun!" she cackled. What a bitch...

We looked around at the chaos and heard unfamiliar voices:

"There! They'll do!"

"Yea! Oh my god, what a relief!"

We looked up to see the weirdest group of people I'd ever seen--a living doll, a drag queen, and Mike Dirnt.

"Holy shit, this is a relief! Thank god you two were here!" the doll sighed.

"No kidding!" the drag queen agreed.

"You don't even know..." Mike said.

Shelby and I looked at eachother. Then, we looked back at the misfits. "Explain...?" I asked.

Mike sighed. "We were sitting around, when these two became what they were dressed up as. I'm rather thankful that I didn't wear anything now."

The doll growled. "Shut the fuck up, Mike..."

"So...these two..." Shelby began.

"I'm Tré!" the drag queen waved.

"Okay... So you're Billie," I pointed at the doll, "and you're...well, you."

"Yup," Billie sighed.

"What are you doing in Missouri?" Shelby asked.

"Well... That's the thing..." Mike sighed.

"We came here to play a show..." Tré muttered.

"...And me and Tré can't play in our current state..." Billie continued. Shelby and I got the hint.

"You're fucking with me..." I sighed.

"No..." Mike sighed.

"But hey! Mike'll be there to help you out!" Tré said with a grin.

I looked at Shelby. "Dude, can we even play?" Shelby worried.

"I dunno... Try..." Billie said pointing to Shelby's guitar controller... Which was now an actual guitar!

"When'd I..." Shelby started, but quickly dropped it and held the guitar. She played the solo from "Let Yourself Go". I was impressed!

"You!" Tré shouted as he pointed at me. "Beta beta steve!"

I looked at him confused, but without thinking twice, I pulled out my drumsticks and played a crazy drum fill on the ground. I looked at Tré wide-eyed and he gave me a smug grin. "What the hell was that?" I said.

"Beta beta steve. No one can forget beta beta steve! I'm the only one that can play it from memory." He said proudly.

"Well, you two, looks like you're set," Billie said.

"God, I hope so..." Shelby and I sighed.
