"Seulgi, there's a computer broken on a six floor" I informed seulgi right after I hung up the phone. "you should go and check it" she responded as she is busy fixing something on the system unit at the big desk. "Me?" Is the only word came out of my mouth. I'm hesitate. Cause most company that I've worked with previously would let me relax on the first day. "Hmm yes? Why? you want to rest? Lisa we're all busy here, so if you mind to help?" she said in her careful tone. "Oh sorry, I'm going now" I told her with my awkward smile. I started to pack some stuff like hardisk, pendrive and few others for troubleshooting. Soon as I about to leave the office, seulgi interupting me "Lisa! if you need any help just call down here" And I just smile to her while showing a thumbsup. To be honest I'm actually a very quiet person, I didn't talk that much. People always end up being awkward around me because of my introvert personality.
A moment later, I arrived on the six floor. I asked one of the worker there who's complaining about defect computer. Maybe it was just me but their faces look kind of disgusted by the mentioned of Ms Jennie's name. I started to feel worried and nervous, is she strict? Hot tempered? Or fussy? As I walk past every desk, I can feel few pair of eyes watching my moves. After we reached at the secretary desk, she then assisted me to the front door that has a labeled hanging. The labeled stated 'Ms. Jennie (Head of Design). So now I know, I'm actually going to fix an officer's computer. I gulp several times. I'm so nervous. I hope my assumption about her isn't true. No, I shouldn't judge her. I haven't met her yet.
The secretary started to knock the door and informed her on my appearance. "please let her in" I could hear her voice speaking from the inside of the room. Her voice sounds soothing and sweet. I don't know why, but I like her calm voice. Soon as I get in, I saw her back facing me. She seems busy sewing a fabric on the mannequin. Her hair is so long and shiny. She look small and cute. Carefully I try to interrupt her. "Hi good afternoon boss, I'm here to fix your computer". Eventually she started to turn her head and looking at my face. I'm stunned. She is actually the girl that caught most of my attention during lunch time earlier today. I'm not kidding, she look so beautiful up close. I'm mesmerized and froze for a seconds. Not until she started to open her mouth. "Afternoon. Hmm.. where's seulgi?" she asked. She looks rather surprised. "She's busy fixing some other system unit, my name is lisa, I'm a new technician" I answered while introducing myself at the same time. Honestly, I didn't dare to look at her face for too long. I'm scared she might feel uncomfortable and awkward. So I started to divert my eyes looking at her desktop and on the floor. She's too pretty I can't handle it. I should always remember where I came from.
"I guess from now on, I'll have to annoyed you if I got a problem. Hmm. You may take a look at my computer now" she stated while flaunting her gummy smiling. I just nodded, diverting my view from looking into her crystal clear eyes. I then walked past her. Carefully I started to check on her monitor and system unit. "Lisa.. You can sit on my chair. Please" softly she stated with a smile. I glance at her once and then hesitantly taking a seat.
You don't have any idea how hard it is for me to control myself avoiding looking at Ms. Jennie. Its difficult. I really need to set my mind. I have to be polite. I have to take note on not to cross any boundries with any officers in this company. As I'm focusing with my job. Suddenly I can feel a hot breath on my cheek. It caught me by surprise as I turned my head to my right side. Ms. Jennie is literally bowing her head down just to look at the computer screen next to me. My heart thumping so fast and I can feel my cheeks were heated by her closeness. "So what's the problem?" she asked while looking at the monitor. I'm being too obvious showing my nervous states as I stuttering answering her question. "Umm. Its. Umm the computer. I. Still umm. Troubleshooting the problem.. On this machine.. Boss" I gulped several times just to complete my words. I feel so embarrassed and stupid.
"Well... Then just take your time okay. I'm not in a hurry anyway" she responds in her soft tone as she is still standing next to me. Her voice sounds so sweet and sexy at the same time. I'm actually lost while listening to her soothing voice. I just nodded to her and continue focusing with my task. A moment later someone is knocking the door.
She started to walk away to open the door. "Hi.. came here to see you!" a guy appeared in the room. He looks tall and smart. "Oh. Hi. I'm actually busy right now" Ms. Jennie replied. She seems uncomfortable judging from her body posture. "Sorry I just wondering if you're free tonight.. Cause.. Oh who is that?" he started to asked soon as he saw me. Now I could clearly see his face. He seems so arrogant and cocky. He has this unreadable expression as he stared at me. "Kai. I'm sorry but tonight I have a dinner with the girls. Btw that is lisa. Our new computer technician, lisa this is Mr.Kai our Head of Finance" she answered to kai while introducing us two. She flaunting her soft smile at me again. I feel weak. "Good afternoon sir" I greeted as I stand up from the chair. Few seconds later he nodded to me while putting his lazy smile.
"Hmm. Jennie this is the 3rd time you rejected me" He stated facing jennie again. I started to get back to my work, fixing Ms. jennie's computer. I don't want to middle in their conversation since I know I shouldn't. I try my best not to listen to their conversation as I focus doing my job. A moment later he left.
"GOD. He is so annoying!" Ms. Jennie whinned.
