There's Another One?!

I was right!

The trio had gone back to jays apartment and they played monopoly, "I'm gonna win" Will bragged, "oh we'll see about that" Rose disagreed. Jay laughed at competitive she was, just like himself. The time flew by and sure enough Will lost, jay lost, and rose won. "Told you so you" she said smuggly. "Okay okay you won, it's no big deal" jay said jokingly, they all laughed until wills phone started ringing.

Will: "this is will"
Doctor: "hey will, just phoning to let you know your results have came back"
Will: "great! We will be there soon"
Rose and Will exchanged a confused look since they were told the dna test would be finished at around 6pm and it was only 16:55pm, they assumed it was someone else calling. "That was med, paper works ready to pick up" Will said already grabbing his jacket from the rack. "Already? I thought she said 6..." rose enquired, she asked the question that both herself and jay were wondering. Will laughed and explained, "well since we gave the blood samples before 9 am this morning, the doctors who were on night shift must've done it for us before they finished up, so come one let's go" Rose and jay didn't hesitate to run to the door since they were both eager to find out the truth.
Once again they took a trip back to med to get the paper work, the car journey was quiet again since the nerves had taken over everyone. "I'll go get them, you two wait in the car." Will said before getting out and running into the hospital. "You know we're still going to help you, even if you're not our sister" jay said reassuring her since she would have to go back home if she wasn't related to the halsteads. "Thanks jay" Rose said smiling widely at him. Before they knew it will got back and slid into the passenger seat with the envelope in his hand, he looked at jay with a worried smile before turning to look at rose. "Here, you open it" he said handing her the envelope. She gulped and took it from him hesitantly, before she opened it she looked up to the brothers sat in-front of her one last time, "here goes nothing" she sarcastically spat out making the boys laugh. She slowly and carefully opened the envelope and took out the paper which read 'dna test results'. It was silent in the car, jay and Will were waiting for her to say something.
Rose scanned the page briefly and found the summary part at the bottom, her face was expressionless as it read:

Rose's mouth turned into a huge grin as she squealed in excitement, she calmed herself down before informing her brothers in the front. "I was right! You're my brothers!" Jay shot Will a grateful look and then looked back at rose before pulling her head towards his and messing her hair up, "we knew it kiddo, you can officially be placed into our care." Jay said happily, "welcome to the family rose" Will added before gently nudging her arm. "Jay what time do the offices close? It's still kinda early. Maybe we can finish this tonight?" Will said realising they could take her into their care tonight if they were still open. "Uhhh, let me check, one second" he answered while the other two waited patiently for the answer. "7pm" jay looked up and set off driving without even asking the others if they wanted to go now. It was 17:25, they were nearly at the offices and they were talking none stop. "We're here, let's go!" Jay exclaimed clearly excited, they all made their way into the child protection floor and waited outside the consultation room. "Will and jay halstead, rose Sanchez?" A lady from the desk enquired. The trio stood up and the desk lady finished, "mr stone will see you now" the three just shared a happy look and they made their way into the consultation room and took a seat opposite mr stone.
"Hello, I'm mr stone, how can I help you all?" He said beginning their meeting, Will began to speak first since he came across the most professional, after all jay was like a big kid and rose was only a teenager. "We were wondering if we could get full custody over our little sister tonight?". "You sure can, have you got proof you are all related?" Mr stone cheerily said, "yeah I got it here" jay handed him the envelope and they all smiled at each other. "Perfect, all you're going to need to do is sign a form each, even miss Sanchez, and then we're going to need to talk about living arrangements. Does that sound like a plan?" Mr stone said in a good mood, he was simplifying it down mainly for rose so she would understand. "Sounds great!" Rose smiled. Jay and Will chuckled to themselves.
"Okay, jay and Will could you sign these pieces of paper. It just states that you're agreeing to care for rose for better or for worse and take her into your care" mr stone offered them both a form. They both nodded and signed it straight away. "Thank you, now rose, could you sign this piece of paper. It states that you give consent for Will and jay to have full custody over you" mr stone offered her a piece of paper just like he did to her brothers. "Happily" she said before grabbing the pen off the desk, the three men laughed and smiled at each other as rose signed it then handed him the sheet back. "Lovely" mr stone got up to put them into a file in a draw behind him. "Now onto the living arrangements. I'm assuming you don't live together so we're going to need to discuss who will take her" mr stone explained. Rose didn't really care who took her, she was just happy to be with her real family. "I'll take her, I have a spare room in my apartment ready for use. Will lives with his girlfriend who already has a child, so I'll take rose" jay answered, he nodded at Will who was smiling at them both since they had already discussed all this when Rose was spending her last night with her 'dad'. "Is that okay with you rose?" Mr stone turned his attention to the young girl sat In front of him, even Will and jay had looked at her waiting for her answer. "Sure is" she giggled. "Great, in that case then jay I'm going to need you to sign some more forms. They're kind of similar to adoption forms but they won't need another parent signature, just rose's current foster parent's signature" jay nodded but realised getting the other signature might be difficult.
Jay signed the required forms and handed them over to mr stone, "thank you, now all you need to do is confirm your apartment has all of the following: at least one window, a fully working water system, a bathroom, a room each for both yourself and rose, a functioning kitchen, and a valid certificate to prove it has passed the health inspection" Mr stone listed, "it has all of those, here's the certificate and photographic proof" jay smirked and handed him the plastic wallet with everything he needed in it. Will smiled proudly and rose wondered how he just happened to have all the things he needed on his person. "That's super helpful, thank you jay" mr stone seemed shocked at his organised manner. Jay turned to look at rose, he smiled and messed her brown hair up again, it was an annoying method siblings use to show love for each other. "Well then it's now only 6pm sooooo, if you are able to go and get the foster parent's signature now, we can finalise this tonight and you are free to take rose to her new home!" Mr stone gave the option to them. "We'll go get it now, thank you so much mr stone" Will finished up before the new family left to go to rose's now old foster parents house.
