Prompt: A character buys a new coat, only to find a mysterious message sewn into the lining of it.
A/N: I took some liberty on this one. It is not exactly like the prompt, but like, it's my challenge so I can do it as I please!
This is going to be a Sanders Sides Fanfiction so the characters are not mine, they were created by Thomas Sanders. If you don't know him, go check his videos on his youtube channel. He is amazing and I hope you enjoy my little fanfic!

TW: Anxiety, panic attack.
(Oh and spoilers from the Sanders Sides series. If you didn't watch all of them yet. Like the names and other things too... Just so you know. And some headcanon too.)
Virgil was in the kitchen, grabbing something to eat before going back to his room in the mind palace. Thomas just got back home after this party he had with his friends. It was fun, but still... Lots of people, you know what it's like. Logan and Patton were in the living room, chatting a little and Roman went to his room to ''get his beauty sleep''.
Virgil gave Patton and Logan a small hand salute before going up the stairs to get to his room. He was half way up when he heard footsteps in the hallway, or atleast he thought he heard it. He instantly got anxious about what was upstairs. Roman was in his room and the other two were in the living room, he could still hear their faded voices. He held his breath while slowly climbing up until he reached the top... Nothing. He let out a relieved sigh, only to stiff up again at the sight on his cracked open bedroom door. He could swear he closed it all the way before leaving earlier. He always double check. And now it was open. What should he do? Last time he told the others, there was nothing in his room and Roman teased him for weeks about it afterward. He probably forgot to close it. That must be it. He slowly walked to his room while trying to steady his breathing. A few more steps... He slowly opened his door, half expecting a monster attacking him... Nothing, again. He let out a yet another relieved sigh, shook his head and closed his door, making sure he heard the clicking sound this time.
He sat at his desk to eat his snack and that is when he noticed something unusual on his bed. He stood back up to check it. It was a hoodie. One half was black and the other had purple and white swirls. The inside of the hood was yellow and there was those big white stitches to hold the two colors together. It looked great and confortable, but it was a little too much for his taste. Who did this? No notes or anything. Who would take that much time to stitch him a new hoodie? He was about to put it away, but the fabric was so soft, he couldn't help but try it on. Once he put it on, a small smile appeared on his face ''Yup, you are my new pjs for now on.''
A few weeks passed and Virgil never wore his new hoodie outside of his bedroom. He really liked it, but he was afraid of how the others would react to it. And if they asked questions about it, he wouldn't be able to answer anything other than ''I don't know, I found it'' and it was too nerve wracking to only think about it. It was a normal day, with nothing to worry about so of course, Virgil began to worry. About stuffs because of reasons and he couldn't find his headphones anywhere to calm himself down. And now there he was, on his bed, trying to do his breathing exercices, but it was hard. And he was too anxious to ask for help. He pulled his legs up agaisn't his chest and tried to hide his face in his new hoodie and closed his eyes. Since the breathing exercices didn't seem to work, Virgil tried the other exercice Logan showed him. First name five things tha tyou can see ''Impeding doom... I don't think that counts... Umm...'' He opened his eyes a little to try and name five things and that is when he noticed it. The writings in the inside of the hoodie, beside the zippers. He took a closer look, it was a really delicate handwriting made of golden thread. ''You are okay'' ''Everything is going to be fine'' ''You are loved'' and other small and encouraging phrases were following the zippers on both side of it. He was so intrigued by it, how did he not noticed it before? Who's hand writing was it? Virgil was so lost in his thoughts and questions, he completly forgot his rising anxiety and the fact that he was acutally wearing the hoodie. He stood up and went to Logan's room. From all the Sides, he was the one most likely to be able to know who wrote this.
