Long before the existence of the caste system, there was a social stratification that the ancient people had universally followed–the Prima Divisio.
With the Prima Divisio, people were divided and classified into three:
FIRSTS (The Nobles & The Gifted)
SECONDS (The Warriors & The Sorcerers)
THIRDS (The Invisible)
Among the three, the thirds were the most inferior. As they were small in number (or population) and they did not have any extraordinary abilities like the Firsts and Seconds. They were actually the opposite. They were just ordinary. Hence, they were called the invisible. Their presence was not important. However, the demands for Thirds were quite high in the market.
To say that the Thirds are slaves was an understatement. In fact, slaves received better treatment since they still possessed abilities. Thirds had no rights and privileges. They were hunted like animals; treated like toys; and disregarded like a piece of trash.
No matter how hard they hide, they always get caught. Bloodshed and death was an inevitable consequence. The Thirds continued to cry for the injustices they have suffered.
Days... Weeks... Years... Decades... Centuries... The Heavens had finally heard their prayers.
On the night of a full moon where the one-hundred-thousandth Thirds was killed, the heaviest whirlwind of water poured into the land. It was so heavy that it stripped the Firsts and Seconds off of their abilities. And without their extraordinary abilities, they were weak... nothing... and vulnerable.
What about the Thirds? Well...
The Thirds, who was supposed to be nothing, the least, and worthless, came back. With vengeance in their hearts. Now that all the abilities were absorbed and shifted to them, they will return the favor of suffering ten times the threshold.
The sudden change brought terror and chaos to their well-established Prima Divisio.
There was no longer a caste system, because on that day, there is only one rule that would always prevail. And that is the...
