As I was walking around the party I noticed Elena standing alone looking down at the dance floor. My heels click with the concrete as I walk up to her. I was wearing a black dress that ended mid-thigh, with spaghetti straps.

"Where's your date?"

"Getting me a drink" She looked down as she talked to me. Her breath changed, and her heartbeat sped up. I lean the bear in my hand toward her, but she only looks down. I shrug and take a sip.

"Seems I have you to thank for Mikael's demise" Klaus was now standing next to me as we both looked down at Elena.

"He came at me. I didn't have a choice." Her eyes kept looking between Klaus and me. Something was off, she was nervous, scared.

"Still, I'm impressed." Klaus nodded and looked at me.

"It's now easy for a human to dagger an Original" I smirked knowing very well that no human could ever kill an Original.

"It wasn't my first time." Elena looked down, not wanting to make eye contact.

"Right. Elijah." Klaus looks down and slowly walks away, leaving Elena and me. I look at her once more, she has been looking around as if trying to find someone.

"You seem nervous. Is something wrong?" I at her from head to toe.

"I'm not nervous." I take a step closer making our faces inches away, I look down at her with a death glare.

"Well, then I'll get straight to the point, Elena. People have been after us for thousands of years. Klaus is always a step ahead, but me? I'm two steps ahead. So whatever it is you're thinking of trying, go for it. Give it your best shot. You won't succeed, Elena."

I smile and walk to the house needing a very strong drink. As I'm drinking at the bar, I notice everyone walking to the back yard, I call one of Klaus's poppets over.

"What's going on?"

"Klaus said to move everyone out back. Something about talking with his dad."

I grab my drink walk to the front door, and see Klaus and Mikeal at the door. They haven't noticed that I've come into the room, so I decide to lay low and see how this goes.

"Hello, Niklaus" Mikael's voice sends shivers down my bad. Horrible memories of things that Mikael had done to me as a child and having to live with the fear of knowing what he's capable of.

"Hello, Mikael. Won't you come in? Oh, that's right. I forgot you can't." Klaus smirk as if he won a fight that hasn't even started.

"Or you can come outside if you want."

"Or I could watch my hybrids tear you limb from limb." Hybrids slowly surround Mikael as Klaus talks.

"They can't kill me." My insides were slowly moving around, making me uneasy.

"True, but it'd make a hell of a party game. All I have to do is rub these two fingers together, and they'll pounce.

"Oh, and you forget. They may be sirens by you but they're still a vampire. And they can be compelled by me." Some short-haired women step out from behind the wall and stand next to Mikael. A second later the woman pushes another woman to stand in front of her, only for it to be dear Elena.

"Come out and face me, Niklaus. Or she dies"

I start laughing as I slowly walk into their view. Both Klaus and Mikeal look at me, making them forget about Elena.

"You say that Nik plays behind the players, but so do you Mikael. You so much alike and yet so different." I stop walking as I'm standing next to Klaus.

"But by all means, please go on. Kill her." My focus was only on Mikael, not caring what Klaus was saying.

"No, Aurora. He'll do it. Klaus" She looks between Klaus and me, but mainly me knowing that I'm the one who's in charge. She seems too calm, she should be screaming or fighting their hold, but instead, she's begging."

"If she dies, this lot will be the last of your abominations"

"I don't need them. I just need to get rid of you..."

"To what end, Niklaus? So you can live forever with no one at your side but this monster you call your sister? Nobody cares about you anymore, boy!"

Tears slowly make their way to his eyes but not falling over. "I'm calling your bluff, Father. Kill her"

"My whole life, you've underestimated me If you kill her, you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on, kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her. Kill her!" Mikael stabs Elena in the back, she struggles to breathe, as she falls on the floor. Klaus gasped as she fell, somethings happening, and I don't know what it is but it doesn't feel right.
