As I woke up I took a big gasp of air and took in my surroundings. I began to panic as I couldn't find my father or anyone I knew. I looked around and all that could been seen were tree's, tree's and more tree's. "Father?" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Pure silence took over the forest as I waited for a reply. "Father?" I yelled once again but with no such luck. My stomach started to rumble as I became hungry, but this hunger was like none I had ever experienced before. It felt as if I hadn't had anything to eat for years. Suddenly I could hear people talking and it was as clear as day. I listened closely and it felt like I was involved in the conversation itself even though nobody was anywhere to be seen. "Hello?" I shrieked. I heard my voice echo and it sounded louder than usual. I ran to where I could hear the voices and I seemed to have ran rather quickly. I saw a village full of people and suddenly my hunger got worse, but it wasn't for food instead it was for... blood. That's when it had hit me that Niklaus was a vampire and he made me into one too.

I looked at all the villagers and saw children running around and I couldn't control what happened next. I ran into the village and bit down on the first person I saw and it tasted so good. Once I had finally stopped feeding I looked around and saw dead bodies everywhere. There were children that were once playing and parents that were watching over their kids. I collapsed to the floor, surrounded in blood, and cried my eyes out. What had I become? I was a monster. My father was right. Vampires are demons. They kill innocent people for no reason. I decided that it was time to find my father. I didn't want to live like this. I'd rather be dead than kill all these innocent people.

It took me several hours to finally find the place I had once called home. I walked through the town towards my house and thankfully it was dark so nobody was outside. I opened the front door to our family home and tried to walk inside but was hit by an invisible barrier. "What?" I whispered to myself and tried again but it was still no use. "Father?" I yelled. My voice echoed through-out the house until I saw my father in front of me. "Rosaline?" he whispered. "Father, I need help. Please. I'm a monster" I cried out to him. "I know darling. This is all my fault. I'm sorry" he cried with me. "Help me father, please" I begged him. "It will all be over soon" he replied and then out of the blue, I felt something pierce my skin right through my stomach. I looked down and held my stomach as I slowly collapsed to the floor. "Thank you" I cried happy tears to my father before everything went pitch black once again.
