'Seriously, sleep on the floor,' I murmured, keeping a straight face as Lucian chose which side of the bed he wanted.

Annoying and on purposely he sat in the middle, 'I think this spot is good'.

'Lucian,' I sighed as the demon continued to ignore me.

Monday had been very tiring.

After having a conversation with Lucian early in the morning I went downstairs to have breakfast.

Dad had immediately picked up something was wrong and had started questioning me:

'Didn't you sleep well?'

'Something wrong?'

'Is it something concerning that boy?'

'What is his name?'

It took multiple head shakes and convincing before he let it go and headed off to work.

Lucian had appeared at my side the moment dad was out the door, a smirk on his face, 'You been talking to your father about me?'

I had reddened and snorted, 'You're not the only boy in my life Lucian Black'.

There had been slight surprise on his face as I used his name before a grin appeared again, 'I really do think I am'.

I'd ignored him as I ate my eggs and tried to continue ignoring him when he sat himself on the other side of the table.

'You don't want to eat anything?' I muttered in between drinks of my orange juice.

Lucian shook his head.

'So is this stalking me all over the place going to last very long?' I mumbled, feeling strange as I observed the demon in my kitchen.

He shrugged this time.

'I think you shouldn't. It makes me suffocated that you're around,' I muttered again, jabbing at a piece of egg white.

In a blink of an eye Lucian had vanished.

I saw him back at school where he lingered at corners and kept an eye on me even though he never approached.

It was worse than having him breathe down my neck.

Every time he had his eyes on me, I knew, it was like he wanted me to know he was watching. Talk about stalking. His eyes left an ever trailing blaze of ice everywhere they lingered and more than once I had rubbed my neck, or my cheek or my back. Trying in vain to get the icy feeling off.

When I had gone back home, listened to dad's voicemail about how he was going to be late that night and how he was sorry that I'd have to eat without him again.

Sarah ate with me instead, talking about how she was having problems with her boyfriend: Mark.

'I don't know if I should move in with him,' she mumbled, picking at the salad we had made together.

'You should go with your head,' I commented, taking a bite out of my pasta, 'If he gets home late or leaves the toilet seat up... I think it's the little things that will bother you. Will you be ok with that?'

Sarah sighed, rubbing her brown eyes with the back of her hand, 'I guess I'll have to think about that first'.

After Sarah had left, borrowing an umbrella for it was raining outside, I'd gone upstairs to take a shower.

Lucian was there, lounging in my chair.

I clutched my heart as I shut the door behind me, 'What on Earth do you think you're doing?'
