Mizuki P.O.V
Me and Nene arrived at the bathroom after about five minutes. We both walked in and knocked on the third stall three times, just as the rumor said to do. I could tell Nene was kinda scared. Nothing happened. "Wow, this was a waste of time..." I said, a bit disappointed."It was just my imagination." Nene said. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder and heard a voice say "Over here." Nene gets scared and jumps at where the voice came from, but her hands go through the strange person, all while I just stand there staring at the mysterious person.
He was a boy with choppy black hair, and was wearing the old male uniform and a hat. He had a white sticker on his left cheek and he had large, Amber eyes. I stopped staring after that. He started laughing at seeing Nene scared, then asked if she was old. She jumped back to the wall behind her and I walked up next to her. He introduced himself as the seventh school mystery, Hanako the bathroom ghost. "If your Hanako-san then why are you a boy!" I asked, kinda yelling. "Yeah, were's your bob cut and red skirt!" Nene asked. "That stuffs out of fashion these days."
I kinda started daydreaming after that until I heard Nene say her wish. "Ok, and what's your name and wish ?" Hanako asked me. "Oh, my names Mizuki, and i-uhhhh. I didn't think ahead, so I make my wish after you help Nene with hers." I told him. "Ok." He said.
~{Time skip brought to you by Hanako's kokeshi doll, and this is after Nene threw the doll and picked up the mermaid scales}~
"Hey Mizuki, come here." Nene said, wanting me to come see what she has. I walked over and looked at the small bag she was holding. She took one of the things and looked at it. "It's really pretty. Wonder what it is?" I said as Nene nodded in agreement. "Hey Hanako, what are these things?" Nene asked as he turned to look at what she was taking about. "Oh, that's a mermaid scale. They're used for matchmaking. But if you eat one you'll be cursed." He said, as I snapped my head at Nene as soon as he said 'Matchmaking'. "Nene, No." I said, but she put it up to her mouth. "You had the right thing this whole time and you didn't use it!" She ate the scale and ran to the door saying "Your nothing but a lier!" I ran after her, Hanako following behind me.
