As they machines marched, across the ravaged, destroyed countryside, for the roughly 50 mile journey to the base, walker saw a mutant, three headed cow, and somehow, it made him think , of his past life, before, he effectively had become a mutant.
He had been born roger Silverstone, on May 17, 2125, to wealthy and connected parents, William and marry, in New York. He was an only child.
As a teenager, he had always been shy and awkward. He used to a school, snob high.
Sometimes people there teased him. He was in class 11 sc b
It was a weird class, by anyone standards. One guy liked to dance for no reason at all, one guy overreacted to everything, one guy always said “champeeon”, and always seemed drunk. Two nutcases used to sit at the back and discuss weird stuff. And one guy was called “editor” walker was not sure why.
Walker always wanted to join the armed forces, but he was not sure what people would think. Then one day, the lead nutcase, Bruce parker, said “it doesn’t matter what people say..Fuckface retard”
that inspired walker to give the military entrance exam. He aced it. When the examiner asked what his name was, he saw an advertisement for Johnny walker, and gave his name as “john walker”
And the rest was history…
Just then , Clancy said n the radio “ we are nearing the base. Get out of the machine”
they did so.
And how lucky they were.
As soon as they got out, their machines were hit by alien artillery…
But at least they were alive….
