THE WASTELAND OVERRUNS US ALL.
Lt Walker looked at backwaters. Smiling, genial face…he wondered what it would look like when he told him the truth..
“Sir” walker blurted out “president snow is with the aliens”
Almost instantaneously, Backwaters face changed.. he looked at walker angrily..
“HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT” so loudly that a section of the crowd turned towards them..
Walker grimaced. That was exactly what he was worried about.
“Sir” he implored “ please be calm. I know this is hard to believe. But I have evidence” dropping his voice further he said “at the alien base I found Intel documents. that is how found out.”
Walker then handed backwater the documents.
Walker saw his face going white, and knew that he believed him.
“What do we do?” he hissed to Walker.
“Sir, we have to ensure that snow does not find out. You should call a meeting of the military…those who you trust...”
“But he will find out. If we disable what do we do now?”
Backwater turned and saw walker looking at him strangely
“What??”He demanded
“you can disable it, right” “ yes, but its pointless” “NO, it isn’t”
“ill go to the empire state building. And threaten to detonate the nuke. in the chaos, snow will not know that the nuke is disabled…”
And when he reaches, you can call his bluff, and arrest him..”
“Right…”
as lt Walker left the area, and backwater called an emergency meeting they both were sure of one thing..
This was the danger…..that if they failed..New York would be destroyed..and the wasteland would finaLly overrun
