Just Hold Me (Forever)

CHAPTER 3

When I woke up I felt a sore on my neck because I fell asleep at the table last night while studying for our exam today. why does the 2nd semester is taking so long, I want to jump to the finals right away. I wish I could go to college and away from the people at our school.

Yaya Maddy called me because my parents were eating downstairs. I quickly run and take a shower, It's already 7:12 and the exam will starts at exact 8:00 am. Darn it! I'm sure I'll be late later.

"You're late, Did you play that stupid online game again Alizra?"Papa said while reading the newspaper.

Mama just smiled at me as our maid put her glass of water.

"I slept late last night dad, I studied quite a bit" I said while sitting. I'm also hungry and I don't have time.

"Honey bring this Carbonara,you might get hungry after taking the exams." Mom smile and the maid put it inside my mini bag.

Thank God I passed the exam today! I thought I am going to fail but finally I made it, I even got the highest score. I decided to go to the canteen to eat the carbonara that my mother gave me.

"Can I sit beside you?" This is new to me, ever since 1st year no one dare to eat with me. I don't know why but some of them kept on saying that I'm scary and weird.

"Uh" I don't want her to sit beside me, it's kinda awkward cause I don't know what to do when someone is near me.

"Sit and eat, that is the only thing that I am going to do. As if I'm having conversation with you!" The girl said and sit in front of me

Woah! This girl again? Haisha the girl who like girls too! But I don't want to ruin my day so all I'm going to do now is to shut my mouth and ignore this girl.

She's eating so fast, is this because she feels that I am not comfortable in her presence or she's rushing for something? But her food smells so good. Damn why does mom only cooked carbonara for me? I requested a adobo for today.

"You want this?" She said pointing at her adobo.

I almost forgot that she's in front of me and all I do is stare at her adobo gosh it's embarrassing. My pride say 'no thanks' but my cravings says 'yes please'.

"I'm full" I said and quickly fix my things 'cause I want to go to the garden.

"Sure? I'm going to throw this one if you won't accept it." She said and acting like she's going to do it now.

I turned and grab the adobo in her hands, I'm craving. This is mom's fault! I need to run and eat this. She even call me but i feel my face is turning red.

While I was running I bumped into someone who caused the adobo to be thrown on my clothes. I immediately got up and was about to leave but I saw a little dirt on his uniform.

"I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry!" I said while looking at the floor because I was embarrassed.

He just stared at me and took his handkerchief and wiped it on his uniform at the same time saying he had extra in his locker.

He was about to leave when he suddenly looked at me again, he approached and immediately touched my wrist.

"Are you hungry?". he said

"Not at all". I said but I was really hungry because mama gave me only a little carbonara.

"I'll just buy you a food in the canteen, Your food just went to your clothes." he said and drag me to the canteen.

I forgot that I had to go to the library to read and review for our exam this afternoon. he immediately pulled me and chose the food.

" What do you want to eat?" He said while looking at the food lined up in front of us.

I just pointed to the fried chicken because that's all I know I can eat, it's as shaky as eating pork. I ate right away because time was running out and I still needed to review. he was on the opposite side of the table and was waiting for me to finish eating.

"Take it easy, it's only 12:15" he was looking at his expensive watch.

I know he's wearing something expensive because I saw it last week while I was buying my gift for mom.

I need to say thank you and say goodbye because the library may be full and I will be forced to study in the garden.

"Uh, Thank yoy for this!" I said awkwardly.

I just looked away because I was embarrassed.

"No problem, sorry! good luck with the exams" he said and patted my head.

Woah! I felt weird, but I'm not a dog, am I? why did he patted my head? Is it because I look dead hungry to eat fried chicken that he will treat me like his pet?

I was shocked by what happened so he was in front of me wondering why my eyes suddenly widened.

"I gotta go, You too good luck with your exams" I said and nodded because I was in a hurry.

It was too late when I realized that I forgot to even thank him before I left, so I thought of just shouting thank you and immediately ran away. I'm happy because there are still vacant seats in the library, it's okay to review in the garden but I just don't want to study there because of the noise when the students do group study there.

I just waited for the bell to ring before I entered our classroom because I feel like I will just lose everything I reviewed because of the noise of my classmates who did nothing but gossip about something

"good afternoon, please put your bags in the front and only ballpen and test paper are in the armchair".Said our teacher assigned to watch over our examination this afternoon.

I've studied it all before in the library so I know for myself that I can answer it all and if I forgot anything, maybe only 1-3 items. kaya ko to, I'm excited to go home and take a rest.
