Amarantha was sitting on her throne. Her glowing amethyst orbs surrounded by her deep purple eyelashes were fixed on something infront of her. Slowly she got up from her throne. Taking clanking steps forward with her leather boots which had metal heels. The glass floor vibrated as she walked forth. Fafnir & Fenrir looked up at her unexpected movement. Still kneeling down. She lifted her hand as fog surrounded them like a typhon in an instant and fell to the ground like the air suddenly turned into dust. With her, were teleported both her knights & Hassan's body. She again exended her arm towards Hassan's body as she spoke. "In the name of Amarantha, I command Hassan to come back to life as my knight", she said. Hassan's body faded as a green pattern appeared on the ground below him. Mere seconds later, small purple glitters appeared from the pattern rising up. They all moved to the centre & combined to form Hassan in a different attire, kneeling down. He was wearing black leather boots & black leather pants. On top of it all was a leather coat with it's right half black and left half grey. His black hair were messy as ever. His eyes were still closed. "...I grant you the power of invisibility along with the ability to use chains as your body. Now, come forth as my loyal servant!", Amarantha added. Hassan's body gave out a wave of energy as he opened his eyes slowly. The circular energy wave travelled outwards blowing away dust. His previously grey eyes now opened up to be the same shade of amethyst as Fafnir's. Not glowing. "What are your orders, master?", Hassan spoke in his usual voice. Amarantha's eyes showed an emotion of relaxation. Behind Hassan, the image of Duriel faded in. He was also kneeling down. His eyes instantly scanned the surroundings. Amarantha looked at Duriel for a brief moment. That brief view and the hands of Duriel raising in protest were enough to tell the other three about what was going to happen. But none of them dared to move even an inch from their positions. Before Duriel could say anything, he was striked. He rolled on the ground a few times, the second he came to a rest, he noticed Amarantha's glowing eyes fixed on him. An intense silent anger displayed on her face. "I told you to not lose. We wasted so much time because of you..... Fafnir sustained injuries because you didn't kill off Hassan. Fenrir was delayed in killing that swordsman because that kid arrived because you failed to kill him too... Duriel...", she spoke in a bone chilling tone. Duriel was on the ground away from her. A distance of about 50 meters seperated the two. Blood was seeping down from his head and his shoulder was also hit. His red leather coat was torn apart at several other places too from where blood was spurting out from the injuries which he sustained from a source so quick that none of them could see it. He raised himself slowly, supporting his body with his right elbow, looking at Amarantha. His dull purple eyes had only one emotion in them. An emotion of pure & extreme fear. The three knights had their eyes fixed at Amarantha. Not blinking, watching in surprise. In a flash, she disappered. Duriel's eyes were met with the glowing orbs of The Unfading being who was now mere inches away from him. Sitting on the ground infront of his face, peering into his dull amethyst eyes. 'This has never happened before... Her Majesty has never been this distressed. True, I've seen her fight. But I am definitely the only Amaranthan knight who saw Her Majesty's strength. She trained me before Fenrir was turned into a knight. Even at that time, she was holding back greatly. That might be the reason why there's such a huge power gap between me and Fenrir. Because he trained with me & I trained with the strongest being in existence. But even at that time when she let me land a hit on her just so I wouldn't lose all hope of getting stronger, she wasn't this distressed. She has never been this angry... it'll be stupid to intervene only to save Duriel's life, he's under my command. His actions might even reflect on me... But if I intervene there's only one thing that could happen to me.... Death", Fafnir thought as he turned back to look at Amarantha and Duriel. His eyes were wide open at the blinding speed of her. "...I don't have use for the weak...", she said as she lifted her hand and snapped her fingers. The instance the sound was produced, the sky and the surroundings glowed a bright purple. A purple blade like form had also pierced Fafnir's left cheek. Thousands of lances appeared, all were aiming at Duriel from multiple directions. "M-my leige, give ma a chance! I'll redeem myself! I'll serve you. I-I will be useful!", Duriel stated instantly. Her eyes had no mercy in them. She slowly stood up, looking down at him. "Redeem yourself? And the shame you casted upon my name with a defeat, what about that? Do you actually think I'll let you get away with it unscathed?", she said. "And what about you? He's under your command isn't he? What kind of training did you give him exactly? It's been more than 500 years since he was created and began training, why is he still this weak?", Amarantha said turning around, clearly addressing Fafnir. The lances faded. "Your Majesty I-", Fafnir started but was cut off because of a slice across hs mouth, ripping apart both his cheeks. He fell further down, holding his mouth with his right hand as blood flowed down. "Don't give me a damn excuse. Whatever you did clearly failed, he was too weak and died. What's there to clear about it? First Fenrir almost lost to a child, then Duriel died for the second time. After that, Hassan landed a hit on even you. Why have you all stopped improving? As said, I have no use for the weak. If you seem useless to me, I'll get rid of you. No matter who you are whether my first knight or the last one", Amarantha spoke. She kicked Duriel in the stomach. A beam of purple light emitted from the other side. He was thrown back, straight into a rock. Fafnir's mouth was still bleeding. 'Its totally not healing. I couldn't see the attack let alone parry it. Even if I had, I doubt she'd leave me alive after that',Fafnir thought. Amarantha turned around & looked at him. "Heal him...", she said. "Recovery flames", Fafnir instantly commanded through his mouth now partially healed. Duriel fell to the ground, his injuries healed completely as the green flame twirled around him & faded. He looked up at Amarantha again. "Fenrir, once you three are done with the towns, skin Duriel's upper half ten thousand times. Fafnir, you'll heal him everytime so he won't die. Don't forget to use a dull blade. I hope the pain will remind him to not lose again. Feel free to let your own anger out too...", Amarantha spoke as her eyes trailed over Fafnir. Taking in his lean & muscular body. His skin was pale, eyes fixed on her. She blinked once as they were all back in the throne room. She was on her throne already. Sitting cross legged. Resting her head on her hand. Her deep purple hair flowed down to the arm-rests of the throne. One strand was on her face, going all the way down to her upper lip. The purple dress with gold details was amazingly beautiful. One snap of her fingers and everyone except her was out of her throne room. "Her Highness was in some serious dismay...", Fenrir spoke. "Is she always that angry?", Hassan asked. There was complete silence in the hallway. "Watch your tongue... her Majesty isn't like us lowlife knights who get angry over trivial matters... A commander of hers casted shame upon us all with a second defeat... That's why she's displeased... Speak with that attitude about her again... and I'll rip out your windpipes...", Fafnir spoke in an unusual angry tone. "Understood...", Hassan replied. Duriel was on the ground behind the three knights. The hallway was dully lit. It was wide, greenish black glass-like walls with metal torches lit with a low flickering green flame that were present at short random intervals. "What about him?", Fenrir asked pointing towards Duriel. Fafnir, now a few steps ahead of them, stopped in his tracks and turned around. The reddish scar across his mouth healed completely. He looked at Duriel for a short moment. "Throw him in the prison for the time being", he replied.
