Prologue
Running around the backyard with my little sister was fun. Even though we were just throwing paper airplanes around. My sister giggled. "Benny can you sing for the little duckies" she said as she pointed to a rock with a painted duck. I start singing you are my sunshine to the little duck shaped rock. "Abby! Benjamin! It's lunch time. Excited we ran towards the door I could smell… blood.

Chapter 1 1/10

I barely came to my senses. I held my hand over my stomach trying to keep whatever blood left. I can't move. I feel so tired, I'll just sleep. Though I don't think I'll be waking up again. My eyes wavered as I closed my eyes. "Benny! Benny! Please tell me you're awake!" I- I think that's Abby... am I losing it? Maybe. "mama and papa are sleeping. They're not getting up and I can't find you" I hear her cry. I try to call out to her, but I could only wheeze and cough. I heard cry but laugh at the same time. "you're alive! You're alive benny! J-just relax! I-I'll find you don't worry". I hear her frantically move things out of the way. I can't sleep now. I have to find my sister. I want to stand but I can't feel my legs.

I see light. I won't look at it, that's a bad idea. I hear small footsteps run towards me. "I-I called aunty Mia. S-she'll be here soon, s-so don't go to sleep, okay? Don't go to sleep" she held me in her arms and sobbed silently… It wasn't long till Aunty and uncle showed up. Aunty held Abby as she cried hysterically while uncle patched me up. I was silent and still shocked. I can't remember anything that happened, I want to, but I *sigh* I can't do anything can I. The looks of shock and horror on my aunt's face as she tried to wake her sister up but to no avail.

"leave" I hear my dad say in a raspy tone. My uncle tried to help him, but he waved his arm away. "I don't have long, if they know they're still alive, they might just finish the job… I want to die along side my wife… take care of my babies for me, please." He smiled, held my mom's hand, and the life faded from his eyes. I reached out to my dad and patted his hand. My sister moved mom closer to him then ran to aunty. "let's… let's leave, the kids have seen enough of this." Uncle said as he picked me up. They held us close as they ran through the heavy rain to get to the jeep.

They strapped us in and started to drive away. Abby fell asleep, aunty sobbed silently, and uncle stared intensely into the road. I look out the water glazed window. The tears began rolling down my face. Goodbye mom, goodbye dad.

???. Don't you think that was. I don't know. excessive?

???. excessive force is what we need to use to get a point across.

???. I guess. our mistake was letting them get too comfortable and not crushing them in the beginning...

???. *sigh* don't make that face.

???. ...

???. don't worry, we'll have what we want, if it's the last thing we do. so don't worry okay. let me handle it.

???. fine. but you don't know how to control your strength... but I love ya for it.
