Chapter 2:Tara

I was dragged to the dungeon like a rag doll and personally I was offended that they didn't think I could walk.I wailed the whole way and acted to cry and shriek in a never ending misery.After all,I was a innocent girl whole accidentally threw a member of the raven gang off a ship.Ultimately killing her and angering the queen of evil.

Yes,I was acting and the moment they threw me into the cold and dim lit prison I stopped my wailing and shrieking.I replaced it with a malicious grin,raven would be regretting her decision very very soon.

"Commander Jexti,I have safely secured a spot in the raven gang,"I whispered into the magical bracelet hidden under my long sleeves.The bracelet was a mark of my rank as an Arani,a special gang of military officials, trained to stop any evil.My  target was to destroy everything that Raven created.This villain was the core reason for destruction in the kingdom of Elizia and my plan was to end her rein.

To bring destruction to her empire of evil.

"Good,"a hoarse voice spoke through the bracelet,"but be careful,we all know what happen to Vexila!"

The thought of Vexila made me nauseous.A true friend and a companion who wanted to bring Raven to her feet was instead brought to her own feet.Her death sent pain through my heart like an electric pulse that jolted you awake.She was brutally killed by Raven, the moment Raven realised that Vexila served the Arani.

My blood pulsed with anger but I let it subside and focused on my mission.I would avenge Vexila but first I had to gain Raven's trust and gain as much information and possible about her past.

I was in deep thought when a husky voice jolted me back to reality.

"Raven would like to know you're name," he spoke,it was that boy that stood next to raven during interrogation,his eyes were oddly intimidating and startled me at first.

"My-my name is Tara Angelora"I spoke,making sure to stammer in faked fear,I was aware that it would be risky to tell them my real name but I had to make everything convincing so I planned to tell them as much truth as possible without giving away my mission.

"Hmm,"he stared at me top to bottom ,with what looked like a judgy eye before responding"You will be moved to your assigned chamber tomorrow after your first mission with Raven,if you fail to fight as well as Vega we will dispose of you."

"Dispose?"I questioned.

"You will be killed,"he said flatly,before adding "You have made a grave mistake by taking the life of a Raven gang member!"

He shuffled out the dungeons and left me feeling shaken and overwhelmed. It didn't matter,I wasn't going to turn back any time soon.

Fatigue grasped me, and before I knew it I was lulled to a restless sleep.

I was going to prove myself to Raven tomorrow and nothing could stop me...
