The light beams of liquid gold sunlight wiggled through the gaps in the curtain, hitting my face with a slight warmth as I snuggled deeper into the milky white duvet.

The knock on the door startled me awake and sent me spiralling down to reality.

Today was the day.

Fumbling out of bed, I rushed to the bathroom, completely ignoring the light tap on the door in the process.

However, before I could enter the wash area the door creaked open, revealing a beautifully dressed Raven that entered the premise and stared me up and down.

"Can you get dressed in a few minutes, the carriage with be arriving shortly at town square where we will be picked up."I only nodded, still dazzled by the turquoise dress that carefully hugged my sisters frame, she would have looked like a princess to anyone who didn't know her any better. She probably had a hundred knives tucked in each corner of that gown, chuckling at my thoughts I headed towards the bathroom.

Almost tripping on air, I tumbled into the dining room where the rest of our team was. Sage looked dashing in his one piece black suite but James immediately took my breath away, he looked ethereal in the navy blue one piece that he fashioned, making a me slightly jealous that Raven's outfit matched his much better than my pink gown.

Quickly shuffling forward, I sat beside and James and started to eat, my stomach a jumbled mess, what we are going to do in a  few minutes is deceit.

Its dangerous and it could get us killed, I still had mixed thoughts about my plan to sabotage the scheme.

Yes, I was going to sabotage the scheme. I am an Arani and I work for the kingdom. But even as I recited the mantra in my head it still felt wrong. The crown has been responsible for some many atrocities, wouldn't it be better if they killed the royal family?

but this wasn't right, the kingdom would be governed my a bunch of rogues.Right?

I was loosing my appetite with every thought, so when everyone got up to leave, I did too, not taking another glance at my unfinished eggs.

The walk to the town square wasn't as long as I had anticipated and as we drew nearer, we could make out a grand looking carriage, decorated by gem stones and ribbons of all kind, why spend so much on a carriage?

It didn't take long before we stepped into the beauty and started our ride into a deadly plan...
