My New English Teacher

Chapter 17

A week has passed and my GPA gone up a point. Which is just a start, Steven is helping me with my other classes so I'm getting good grades.
I wake up from the annoying sounds coming from my alarm clock, I hit snooze, and throw the covers over myself.

I felt my body shake moments later and I open my eyes to see Tyler standing on the side of my bed dressed up for school.
"You're going to be late if you don't get ready now." He says
I've been waking up late all week because of studying and I'm exhausted.. I can't wait for the weekend.

I roll my eyes at his words and slowly sit myself up. "Give me 10 minutes." I tell him. He nods and leaves the room.

I quickly strip myself to take a shower, which was short. after I'm finished I put on a plain black shirt, with some pink leggings, and lastly some black and white chucks.

I look in the mirror "it looks better then I thought." I say realizing I'm in the room alone.
I finally got myself my own make-up kit, I open the small box and apply light mascara with black eyeliner. I smiled once I looked back at the mirror.

I put half of my hair up, and left the rest down. I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs.
I quickly make my way to the kitchen and grabbed some chips, and a brownie.

I finally made it to school, I sigh in relief and walk to my first hour class, which I have Steven with. The bell rings and thankfully I made it in class before it did. "Alright class please take your seats."
The rest of the class Steven was talking about an essay we have to do and how to do it by showing us examples.

Ring ring

I gather my stuff and I see him walking towards me. "I want to take you out on a date." He says with a smile. I smile back "where are you taking me?" I ask. "Can't say" he says under his breath, and I frown. "Don't be sad, I'll pick you up around 8, be ready."

8?? I have homework and studying to do, but I don't wanna turn him down so I nod.
"Also, this can help with your essay." He tells me.
Now Curiosity is getting the best of me.

I give him a small smile and walked away leaving him alone in the classroom.
"Wait up!" I hear a voice say behind me I jump in fear and turn around to face Kathy.

Great.. I've been avoiding her all week and she finally got me.
Her eyes are red and her hair is all over the place.. Let me just say her hair is terrible. She steps closer to me and I notice a tear roll down her cheeks, I actually feel kinda bad but my words differ "Ugh, what do you want now?" I question.

"Des, please."

"It's destiny for you!" I shout.

"I'm sorry-"

"No Kathy, I'm tired of this.. I'm tired of you I'm going to be late for class bye."

I walk away from her feeling almost guilty, she looks like a total mess just because we don't hang out anymore. I hear heavy footsteps behind me and I assume she's running after me, before I knew it I was running to, but away from her.

I finally stopped running to take a breath. "Destiny just listen! I know I told our friends about you and Steven but guess what? They were going to find out anyways, and you know that too! And don't act like you never broke a promise, you know what you did that day but I forgave you!.." She takes a breath before continuing "You're a bitch you know that? A selfish bitch, and now I'm realizing it."

A tear roll down my cheeks, not only because it's hurtful, but because it's true, I am a bitch for what I did, and til this day I regret it. "I'm sorry." I tell her, I know I should be upset and curse her out but she's right.

I should've never told our friends that she lost her virginity to a cucumber.

I pull her Into my arms for a hug. "Look, I'm so sorry can we please start over?"
I beg and she calms down with a friendly smile. I don't know why I over reacted about that when I did something 10x worse and embarrassing, If I was Kathy I would tell people I kissed Steven too.
