Chapter 10

Destiny.

I walk towards the tall building frustrated, leaving Mrs. Bray and Steven. I heard footsteps behind me "Where are you going?"

I turned around and saw Steven breathing heavily, -from running.
"Steven I have to go." I say through a whisper where only he could hear. He sighed, "What's wrong?" He asks. I ignore his question and continue walking towards the entrance. If Kathy really told all my friends I could never trust her again, my heart beat increased...

STEVEN POV
She ignores my question and continues to walk off, I didn't want to make a scene so I let her be.

I sighed heavily putting my fingers through my hair, walking to my classroom to get ready for the day.

DESTINY POV

I saw Kathy having a conversation with Kaila, I quickly made my way to them pulling Kathy from Kaila "Hey!" Kaila yelled crossing her arms. I rolled my eyes pulling Kathy with me into a janitors closet.

"Class starts in 5 minutes I'm gonna be late" she says "Oh don't worry this will only take a minute" I spat.

KATHY POV

She mumbled something under her breath I couldn't understand "What?" I ask. "Did you tell?!" This time she was louder and serious. I flinched back.

"What?" I repeated "Oh, don't act dumb Kathy I know you heard me, I didn't stutter." She growled. I know it was no use In trying to lie..

"Yes Des, but befor-"
"Just save it, and don't call me des!" She screamed then she looked up at me a tear roll down her cheek "I can't believe you, 5 years i trusted you!!"

My eyes started to sting and I let tears fall from my eyes at her words... She trusted me and I let her down. "Des I'm sorry!"

She wiped her tears and walked out...

DESTINY POV

I should've known better not to tell, and now Steven is probably gonna get fired because of me...

I walked to my first class where I have Steven as my teacher.

30 minutes into the class and Kathy didn't show up yet... Why did I even care... I don't...

I took my seat where I normally sit In lunch with my 'crew'
Everyone looked up at me while I was eating, like I killed someone or something.. which was VERY uncomfortable.

Dahlia stood up and sat somewhere else. Davianna, Kaila, and Darien followed her.

I picked at my food and sighed "It's okay Des, I'm still here." I looked up and saw Brianna grinning. "Thanks Bri, it means a lot."
