Titanus Anguirus was trying to fight off against Baragon who was under the control of the Red Chain, Anguirus rolled into a spiked ball and struck Baragon's chest knocking him off its back.
Anguirus: Baragon! speak to me! what has gotten into you!?
Baragon did not respond and swiped at him with his fire claws making Anguirus roar in pain and strike Baragon with his tail, who simply got up and attacked again, the two Elemental Guardians duke it out with Baragon managing to slam Anguirus down on his back and slash his chest with is fire claws.
an Apex helicopter was about to fire the last Red Chain collar at Anguirus' neck but a blue beam of fire blasted the helicopter and the collar to dust. Anguirus and Baragon both heard a roar

Godzilla rose up and attacked Baragon slamming his tail. Anguirus took the opportunity to get up and help Godzilla subdue Baragon
Godzilla: Baragon! Try to think!
Baragon responded by biting Godzilla's arm, Anguirus then bit Baragon from behind and slammed Baragon to the ground
when Godzilla tried to help, Gigan appeared from the sky and with one mighty swing, slices OFF Godzilla's right arm!!!

Godzilla: *roars in extreme pain*
Anguirus: !!! Godzilla, NO!!!
Gigan was ready to attack Godzilla even further but then appeared Mothra who sprayed her silk at Gigan, stopping him. Gigan tried to blast her with his laser eye but she slashed at him with her claws, damaging him into retreat, no one hurts the King and gets away with it!
with Gigan gone, Mothra helped Anguirus by stinging Baragon, paralyzing him, with that done Anguirus then ripped off the collar freeing Baragon from Apex' control.
Baragon: ugh...what happened??
Anguirus: you were under some mind control thing...are you okay?
Baragon shook his head and saw Godzilla clutching his elbow where his right arm used to be
Baragon: *gasped* Godzilla! did..did i do that?!
Mothra: no you didn't Gigan did, we must find Manda and Varan and free them.
Godzilla: i'll have to go back to the Hollow Earth to regrow my hand...may take months..
Anguirus: they'll pay for what they did!
